I was so hype when this game was being teased, mainly because of the idea of everything being a physical object/entity.

Now for me, the game felt more like another Run and Gun style of game with puzzles in between with they story/lore being explained or used in about 5 different scenes that last no longer than 30 seconds, so for me they whole "story" aspect of the game was very minimal and had little effect on the game if you just skip past or destroy the monitors while they are mid sentence.

But, the game is still fun, there are alot of secrets, "easter eggs" and jokes here and there for you to either collect or admire.

Also, this is the first vr game that made the guns feel like guns.

I would recommend this game if you really have no preference for game modes when it comes to public lobbies, but if you do have a preference, I would recommend having a group of friends that also enjoy the game so you can get a decent lobby set up for people just getting on also have a lobby to join.

There is definitely a learning curve with the tools that neos provides, but it's still an interesting game to play. You meet creative people and join them in building a world or avatar depending on the project they are trying to complete.

One thing that really makes this social vr game stand out is the fact that you don't have to deal with unity if you didn't like to work in it in the first place, you just need to know the tools in your inventory and you can start building worlds inside the game and bring in your avatars and work on them inside the game, bonus points to being able to make your own scripts for worlds and avatars.

Game's fun, people that don't like the 'saving private Ryan' feel of cod games need to just stop buying the game before others that will show you the gameplay. Understand that every recent call of duty that takes place in a 'historical' setting, is a historical fiction setting. They don't call this a simulator for a reason, it's fictional and takes inspiration from historical moments in our time, just like every other game, movie, and show that wants to dramatize history.

Do your self a favor and realize that Call of Duty has taken a turn in favor for dramatizing history, and fantasizing about our future when it comes to conflict. If you want something that is documentary style accurate, take a look at what up coming studios are making for the era of the great war, and WWII, not the game franchise that has been inspired by Saving Private Ryan every since day one.

Other than that, this game was good, it had the visuals, it had the gunplay, and it had a campaign, that's already a step in the right direction unlike BO4.

First things first, i was told about this game in vrchat by some people that started a conversation about how the unity engine is a terible engine for performance, and brought up High Fidelity that is running on the Unreal Engine 4 which on first listen sounds like a nice idea and would be the next social vr game. The only issue that I have is the occlusion culling, it is terribly set up to the point that things that should be in view are not due to this issue and same for avatars, i've also noticed random avatars that stand around that do nothing to assist the player nor add any value to the gameplay, and the hand menu was also effected by the occlusion culling making it difficult to anually do anything, and the starting tutorial uses a basic trigger based system that can get anoying after walking through the same trigger by mistake.

p.s
when i first installed and started the game, it froze and I decided to close it and it never did close, and I couldnt find it in task manager, so steam thought that high fidelity was still open untill I decided to restart my pc.

This game has potential, but attention to detail when it comes to these maps needs to be priority, same with the terrible post processing... please remove the Depth of Field, our eyes already do that, and yes, even with a 2D screen 2 inches from your eyes.
