Once Human is a refreshing take on the survival genre with a unique twist on the post-apocalyptic world. It offers an impressive mix of exploration, crafting, and combat with beautifully immersive graphics and a gritty atmosphere that brings the decayed world to life. The gameplay encourages both cooperative play and solo exploration, which adds flexibility depending on your style.

One of the standout features is the character progression and customization. The game allows you to really shape your character's abilities and gear to suit your preferred playstyle, whether that’s combat-heavy or more resource-focused. The crafting system is complex and detailed, which can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but once you get the hang of it, it’s incredibly rewarding. Building your base and fortifying it against threats feels genuinely satisfying, and you get a sense of ownership over your space in this world.

Combat feels intense, especially when facing off against the unique creatures and powerful mutated bosses that roam the wasteland. The enemy design is imaginative and keeps you on your toes. Some encounters require strategic thinking and preparation, so it’s not just mindless shooting. The weapons and skills feel balanced, and upgrading your gear and abilities makes a noticeable impact on gameplay.

There are some minor bugs and occasional performance hitches, but the developers seem responsive to player feedback, and updates have been rolling out to fix these issues. If you enjoy survival games with a bit of an edge and are willing to dive into a slightly steeper learning curve, Once Human is definitely worth playing. It’s a gripping and rewarding experience that stands out in the genre, and I’m looking forward to seeing how it evolves with more updates and content.

The worst game ever.

Don't get me wrong. I love this game so much. I pre-order the Gold Edition on Steam with full price. And I've played for almost 700 hrs. I tried and played almost every aspect of the game. And I also constantly browsing and discussing on Division subreddit. Frankly speaking, this is really a nice game but the devs sucks.

+ Really nice graphic. Although SnowDrop is a new game engine, the graphic still looks awesome.
+ Cover system is good for 3rd-person shooter.
+ Neat and clean UI design. Informative but minimal design.

- Connection problem as always. UBI servers are really bad that even worse in MMO.
- Cheaters and hackers everywhere. No matter you're playing in PVP or PVE, there are TONS of cheaters makes the game totally unplayable.
- Looting and crafting system are jokes. You may get nothing worthy for about 4 hours play since the loot drop is awful and the crafting requirements are unreasonable in some way.
- The end-game is tedious. Maybe it's just because this is a new game, the lacking of end-game content makes you get bored very soon.
- The new gamemode, Incursion, design is quite bad. Very small map with 15 waves of overlevel enemies only.
- The PVP is totally unplayable due to cheating. And the elite enemies distribution is unbalanced and the rewards are not scale up with the difficulty. Everyone level up in DZ03, and nobody go to DZ06 since the rewards are almost the same as DZ01.
- Currently there is no cheat detection system implemented. They try to find cheaters manually and it's inefficiency and inaccurate.
- The ban is also a joke. Only 3-day ban for hacking before, and now it's only 14-day ban. Cheaters still cheating.
- Lots of game breaking glitches and bugs.

Ubisoft ruined almost everything. And the support is really slow and unhelpful. I submitted a ticket to UBI support on 20th April, and got response on 6th May with unhelpful answer. Moreover, lots of problems/suggestions on Reddit were discussed. Redditors pinpoint the issues and even provide possible solutions. But devs never listen. Lots of game breaking issues are not fixed.

Actually I quit this game on 20th April, 2016. After a month later, there's still no improvement in Division. So I totally cannot recommend this game although I want to.

Good game, bad devs.

別誤會,我很喜歡這款遊戲,我在Steam預購了黃金版,而遊戲時數接近七百小時,我嘗試並接觸過遊戲所有部分,同時我也常常在Reddit上參與討論。坦白講,這是一款好遊戲,但是爛開發商。

+ 十分優異的畫面表現,雖然SnowDrop是個新引擎,但是整體畫面看起來很棒。
+ 掩體系統在第三人稱射擊很方便上手。
+ 簡潔乾淨的介面設計,適時的提供必要資訊卻又不會雜亂。

- 連線一樣老問題,UBI的伺服器實在是很差,尤其在這種強調多人連線的遊戲內更嚴重。
- 各種外掛作弊滿街跑,不論你玩PVP還是PVE,到處都是外掛跟作弊,讓整個遊戲幾乎無法正常進行。
- 掉落跟製作系統是個笑話,常常會打了四小時結果拿到的都是無用的垃圾,而製作材料需求設計又非常的誇張不合理。
- 貧乏的封頂內容,或許因為這是個新遊戲,但貧乏的內容讓你滿等後很快就會感到無聊。
- 新模式,襲擊,設計的頗差,只是一個非常小的地圖搭配15波超強的越等敵人而已。
- 到處都是外掛,PVP幾乎無法玩,而PVP的菁英敵人部屬非常不平衡,且獎勵也沒有隨難度提高,所有人都擠在暗區03升級,然後根本沒有人要去暗區06,因為獎勵跟暗區01差不多爛。
- 目前為止遊戲內完全沒有作弊偵測的系統,他們嘗試用人工的方式找作弊玩家,但非常沒效率而且不準確。
- 停權機制也是個笑話,之前抓到作弊只停權三天,現在提高了也只是十四天而已,作弊的仍然繼續作弊。
- 還有一堆讓遊戲完全無法正常運行的漏洞和bug。

Ubisoft幾乎毀掉了所有東西,而且官方客服效率極差,我4/20的時候提交了一個問題給官方客服,到5/6才收到回覆,而且回覆內容官腔又沒幫助。此外,在Reddit上很多人討論了許多潛在問題,並提出了可能的修改方式與建議,但官方幾乎都沒有採用,許多誇張的bug仍然沒有修正。

事實上,我在2016年4月20日就沒有再開過這款遊戲,現在過了一個月,看起來仍然沒有改進,因此雖然我很喜歡,但我仍然無法推薦這款。

好遊戲,爛公司。

No spoiler in this review.

The latest episode in Call of Duty franchise. Continuing the story from WAW, BO1 and BO2. The time is setting in the future, 2065. All the sci-fi stuff is awesome and fantastic in both appearance and functionality. Generally, the main menu is fabulous. You may admire your own character in the menu backgrounds. And you can locally play with friends in split-screen! (Support both vertical or horizontal split) This is very cool if you want to play together locally.

The game breaks into 3 big modes: Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies. In BO3, all these modes are quite decent individually. Moreover, all 3 modes are well connected. Such as, in Multiplayer mode, you may use the camo which was previously unlocked in Campaign mode. Most of the unlocks and customizations are shared in all 3 modes. And in each mode you have your own progress. They all have levels, achievements and statistics separately. Besides, all 3 modes have multiplayer which means you can play these modes with friends! Campaign and Zombies mode both support COOP up to 4 players.

Another awesome part is the customizations and the media community. Most of the FPS game (such as Battlefield series) allow players to decorate their guns with camo. And also have custom Emblems for creative players to show themselves. In BO3, each custom Emblem support up to 64 layers. Which means you could create almost anything you want. Furthermore, you may also fully customize your weapons with "Camo" and "Paint Job", even "Clan Tag" or "Kill Counter" if you got prestige. These customizations are not only for you to please yourself. You can upload your sick guns the to in-game media community. All the BO3 players could see your works and rate them, even download them if they like it. So the customization and social functionality is quite robust in BO3. (Screenshots sharing coming soon)

In order to clearly express my opinion, I will review BO3 mode by mode.

Campaign
Very nice and deep story, continue the story from BO2. The story is so deep (imo) that you may have to play over and over again to truly understand the true story behind the scenes. And there is a secret mode (the secret almost everyone knew lol) called "Nightmare" after you beat the Campaign mode. Basically the Nightmare mode is not only the zombie version of the Campaign, but also re-tell the story form a different aspect. You should also try it if you want to understand the true story!

+Very nice and deep story
+Support COOP in all stages in Campaign up to 4 players
+Multiple routes on the map. You may choose which route (i.g. up from roof or side flank, etc) you are going to assault
+4 diffculties provide different challenge for both newbie and skilled players
+Lots of checkpoints. No need to restart from the beginning when you die
+The cutscenes are nice and immersive. Playing campaign just like watching a movie
+Awesome and beautiful scenes. Not only the sci-fi stuffs, you may also see some fantastic imaginary scenes in Campaign
+Secret mode: Nightmare. Totally different feelings and different order to tell the story from different aspect with different challenge

*Story is so deep. Maybe not easy for everyone to see the true story in first run. So many people think the story sucks :P

Multiplayer
Many decent features success from the predecessor, and add more new stuffs in BO3. The Class, Weapon Attachement, Perks, Wildcards and Scorestreaks system are quite similar with BO2. The Specialists and the new movement are the new stuffs in BO3. The Specialists are all have their own special weapons and abilities which makes the battle more interesting. And the jetpack allow you to double jump, wallrun and slide on the battlefield. Moreover, you can swim underwater in BO3. These new movements are very nice, extending the battle into three-dimensional. Several new perks were added to match the new movement system. Such as silence jet-pack, fast thruster recharge and digital footsteps.

+New jet-pack movement. Fast pace 3D battle is very cool
+Sci-fi scenes and sci-fi stuffs. The future battlefields and equipments looks awesome
+Highly customizable weapon. You may show off your favorite gun with tons of camo, self-created paint job and attachemnets
+Specialists are very interesting. 9 unique specialists, each of them have 1 special weapon and 1 special ability for player to choose
+And specialists all have lots of outfits and taunts to unlock. Further showing off yourself!
+Tons of challenges, achievements, specialists, weapons, attachements, perks, camo, calling cards for you to unlock!
+Statistics are informative
+Lobby Leaderboard is nice if you want to see how's the players in your lobby
+And yes, you can chat in lobby right now (can't chat in lobby in BO2)
+Nuketown is back!
+Better connection in my opinion. I've played over hundred hours, never get "Disconnected from server (BO2)" in BO3.

-Players in Asia is fewer than North America. Some modes are few players playing. (I'm in SE Asia)
-You can only see other player's Level and shared Showcase (Paint Jobs, Variants and Emblems), no statistics, even no history match replay
-Friend list are still bugged in BO3 (just like BO2). If you have over 100 Steam friends, it will only display random 100 friends in BO3's friend list

Zombies
I played Zombies mode less, because it's not easy to find Public Game or other teammates to play together in Asia. Sometimes the game connect me to Europe server, and my ping will over 300ms, hard to play lol. Thus, the following review might not very accurate and not very completed.

+The map is quite big. Many place to explore
+Very challenging, it's not really easy to beat the game
+Transform into the Beast. Get special abilities and access certain places.
+New stuff: Gobblegum. You can get these gum for different boosts

I can't tell much since I play few Zombies mode. But it's really fun to play Zombies mode with friends!

In conclusion, Black Ops 3 is quite a masterpiece in my opinion. Although there's some performance issue at launch, Treyarch quickly patch it in several hours. The performance is quite nice and smooth now. If you like COD series, if you like sci-fi, and if you like fast-pace FPS, you should try Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. It's AWESOME!

Reseña de Acceso anticipado
Awesome MegaMan-like game. Pretty smooth control and nice level design. Though this is still in Early Access, it's quite playable due to random stages and COOP mode.

+Smooth control. The feeling is quite similar to Mega Man gameplay.
+Nice level design. The levels are fun and challenging.
+Random levels. The game always creates random level every time you play.
+Local COOP and network COOP is awesome. You can play with your friends!
+Daily challenges.
+Rogue-like gameplay. Collet Nut Souls and unlock powerful items.

-The arts are REALLY bad lol. The characters and mobs and environment and particle effects really need some reworks. :P

Generally speaking, this is really good as a rogue-like 2D platformer. Also bring back the Mega Man memories from my childhood. This is still in Early Access and frequently updating. Hope it'll be even more awesome when it's finished. (Art rework pls!)


非常讚的洛克人類型遊戲,操作十分流暢、關卡設計也很棒,雖然這款目前仍在開發中,但他的隨機關卡和COOP模式已經很好玩了。

+流暢的操作,操作手感十分接近洛克人系列。
+良好的關卡設計,很多關卡設計很有趣又富有挑戰性。
+隨機關卡,每次遊玩時遊戲都會產生隨機的關卡內容,每次都不一樣。
+單機多人和網路多人合作模式,可以和朋友一同奮戰!
+每日挑戰任務。
+Rogue-like的遊戲系統,蒐集 Nut Souls 來解鎖強大的物品裝備。

-美術實在非常爛 lol,角色和怪物和環境和各種特效都十分需要加強。 :P

整體來說,這款是一個很棒的 rogue-like 2D平台遊戲,也真的喚醒當時童年的洛克人美好回憶,目前這款仍在開發中且持續在更新,希望完成後是一個很棒的遊戲。 (美術重做,拜託)

- Graphic is not impressive
- Mouse movement is awful even with Mouse Acceleration turned off in settings.
- Latency problem.

+ Save my bucks.

- 畫質普通。

This is a review based on 1.3 PowerPlay.

First of all, I love space and futuristic game. Elite: Dangerous is quite a nice space game with lots of potential. What I mean is that, currently this game is nice, beautiful and good to play at the beginning, but there are some mechanisms not completed yet or need some improvement.

+Gorgeous graphic and beautiful universe.
+Nice navigation design. Normal flight, supercruise and hyperspace.
+Immersive UI design with easy hotkeys. You can easily switching to left or right panel with single click, or just stare to open the panels if you have VR such as Oculus Rift.
+Nice Universal Cartographics. Very easy to navigate and very informative.
+Random signatures give more unsure possibilities to your flight.
+Decent background music and AI voice.
+Persistance Universe is very cool. Game time sync with real time, A.C.2014 as A.C.3300. Makes you feel like living in that universe.
+P2P + Server-Client connection mechanism creates a no lag MMO experience.
+Really nice optimization. Currently the game only need 5.5GB harddisk space. And about 800MB RAM while running.

-Few ships design. Currently only 20 flyable ships and some ships have quite similar appearence. i.g. Sidewinder, Cobra MKIII and ASP Exploerer.
-Few space station / starport design. Currently only 1 type for small station, and 3 types for large station with all the same interior design.
-PowerPlay makes no sense in some place. i.g. Zachary Hudson controls tons of Federation systems with Independent capital?
-Lots of missions but most of them are low profit. If you want to make money, illegal and smuggling is the only way to make money fast.
-No or few coop/team mission. Team play is very weak, mostly single player missions in the universe now. So does PvP.
-Poor training tutorials. They help you to understand how to fly the ship, but not telling you how to get started, even no UI instruction.
-There's no mechanism for player to own multiple ships. You can only fly one ship at a time, and all your other ships can only park at the shipyard and do nothing. (X series can remotely control your ships to trade or fly to station.)

It's really fun at the beginning. But you'll gradually find that the ships and the stations are all the same, and the multiplayer is not completed. MMO gameplay with Persistance Universe, Elite: Dangerous could do more than this. Lots of potential for Elite: Dangerous and it needs some little tweaks.

Generally speaking, Elite: Dangerous is a nice game if you like space and futuristic game. I believe it'll be even more completed with the upcoming patch in the furture.

+精美的畫質和壯麗的宇宙。
+流暢的導航設計,普通飛行、超光速飛行和超空間跳躍。
+融入感強烈的介面設計以及方便的快速鍵,你可以按一個按鈕就輕鬆切換左右面板,或是如果你有VR顯示器,例如Oculus Rift,也可以盯著適當的位置自動開啟面板。
+好用的宇宙星圖,很好操作而且資訊充足。
+隨機的太空訊號讓遊戲增加更多不確定要素。
+遊戲背景音樂和AI語音十分到位。
+永恆宇宙非常讚,遊戲時間與現實世界時間同步,西元2014年開始同步遊戲西元3300年,讓你感覺就像住在那個世界一樣。
+P2P + Server-Client 的連線設計提供一個不會lag的MMO多人連線體驗。
+非常棒的優化,目前遊戲只佔5.5GB的硬碟空間,執行的時候也只消耗大約800MB的RAM記憶體空間。

-星艦設計貧乏,目前整個遊戲只有20艘可飛行的船艦,而且很多船艦外觀看起來十分雷同,例如Sidewinder、Cobra MKIII、ASP Explorer。
-太空站設計貧乏,目前只有一種小型太空站和三種大型太空站,而且所有太空站內部設計都長一樣。
-PowerPlay有些設計不合邏輯,例如Zachary Hudson的母星系是獨立星盟(Independent),但他統治的領土幾乎都是聯邦(Federation)的星系?
-遊戲中有很多種任務,但是大部分利潤都太低,如果真的想賺錢,非法任務和走私是唯一的快速管道。
-沒有或是很少的合作/團隊任務,目前遊戲團隊合作機制非常差,幾乎都是單人任務居多,而PvP相關機制一樣貧乏。
-模糊的教學,教學只告訴你該怎麼飛太空船,卻忘了教你新手該怎麼起始遊戲,甚至連介面都沒介紹。
-目前的設計讓玩家沒必要擁有多艘太空船,你同時只能開一艘太空船,其他的船只能停在太空站內什麼也不能做。(X系列中玩家可以遠端操控其他自有的太空船進行貿易或停靠太空站。)

一開始的時候的確很有趣,但隨著遊玩你會漸漸發現船艦和太空站怎麼看起來都好像,而且多人遊戲的部分感覺也不夠完整,MMO多人連線加上永恆宇宙的設計,應該可以做出更多的變化,Elite: Dangerous還有很多潛力並需要一些調整。

整體來說,如果你喜歡宇宙和未來的設定,Elite: Dangerous是一款不錯的遊戲,我相信在未來的更新中會慢慢的讓遊戲更完整。
