Oh boy this game tanked. Dev's are also now using Archi's SC Farm (A group on steam for creating/purchasing bot accounts to farm various aspects of steam) to try and offset the amount of negative reviews they're receiving.

Don't think this is true? Go ahead and click on most of the recent positive reviews. You'll notice they all have the previously mentioned group in common.

I had a lot of faith in this game but its not even playable anymore.

Refreshing, intense, fast paced, and hilariously random.

Delete Apex already, the finals is waiting.

Allow me to explain why the FTP model in The Finals is the best there is.

- The Battlepass is purchased VIA in game currency, not real-world-dollars
- You can earn this for just playing the game
- Skin bundles do not require you to purchase the entire $10 bundle if you just want the hat. You can purchase singular items from bundles, for a fraction of the cost
- Skin bundles that cost real money also include in game currency, justifying a $20 price tag by allowing granting you 2400 credits

Also, the art department needs a freaking raise, out of all of the cosmetics in the FPS genre this game takes the cake.

I have never felt compelled to purchase a cosmetic in a FTP game, but hop onto the finals and you can have a fish tank inside of your LMG? Oh yeah, take my money. One of the revolver skins is literally just a stick that you pew pew.

What makes it so incredible is the fact that this game's graphics are absolutely CRISP - so everything feels realistic, even the goofy items.

I am somewhere in the middle on this game.. While public matches remain seriously fun, especially with friends, the ranking system really broke my will to play consistently.

TLDR: Ranked sucks because of the point system - but public matches with friends is still the best battle royale experience to date.

I honestly have no idea who gave the green light for their ranked system - but its entirely pointless. In a Battle Royale you would think the most points would be awarded to getting a large number of kills. Not this game - you can have 6+ kills but if you are not in the top 10 teams you will still receive NEGATIVE points. Yes that means you can single handedly wipe 2 squads by yourself, and still receive a loss of points if you aren't in the top 10.

A Battle Royale that almost punishes you by playing how it should be played is tiresome - all anyone wants to do in ranked is sit and wait until you get top 10 and then sit and wait some more.

A professional streamer literally got to APEX PREDATOR with 0 damage and 0 kills....

This game is hilariously fun.

I haven't come across anyone taking it seriously and seems like everyone is just here to have a good time. Gun play is honestly pretty decent and sniping is extremely satisfying. For $15 its better than anything EA could squeeze out their rectum.

Hopefully this absolutely incredible game sets the standard for AAA games coming up. Hats off to the dev's who without a doubt delivered the game of the year.

Seriously, this is how games should be made - I almost get a nostalgia hit of loading up Skyrim for the first time.

The game is made for mobile - every course is extremely boring and uninspiring. The open MIC on by default is such a weird touch, and even after you turn it off it turns itself back on? Seems odd a game aimed at a youth audience automatically sets your microphone on by default.

Sea of Thieves announced they are creating a "Safer Seas" private game mode. Interesting. Looks like the extremely toxic community that infests this game has finally pushed the developers to go back on their word of NEVER creating a private game mode - due to the fact that people are refusing to ever come back to the game because it is impossible to complete any story mode quests without being spawn camped and immediately sunk by trolls.

However, a majority of content is going to be limited in Safer Seas. Do they not realize what a huge explosion this game would be if you could actually enjoy all of the content without worrying about the toxic community? But oh well, continue to cater to all of the crying griefer's in their forums complaining nobody will pvp if they release this game mode.





(Original here) Probably some of the greatest water graphics and overall feel to a game I've ever played. Truly beautiful. HOWEVER

What is not beautiful is the dozens of times I've been on an island to hear dreaded cannon shots, knowing my ship is going to be sunk before I even get back to it. I do not understand the reasoning players have to sink a vessel, thats anchored, with nobody aboard and no loot inside.

Its a purely toxic community where every server will have at least 1 galleon full of people who genuinely enjoy sinking you purely for the fact they know it makes people angry. Until the dev's are able to come up with a solution to this, avoid as you will fall in love with a game and then come to hate it thoroughly.

It was pretty fun in the beginning, then the numbers really started to dwindle. They merged a majority of the servers but the game is still steadily losing its player base. Hardly any low level players anymore so its difficult to find parties for the lower level dungeons, and if you do manage to find a party its usually people who are majorly over leveled and steamroll through the dungeon, ruining a new player experience. They created a solid base, but with little thought to its longevity.

A majority if the negative reviews have 100+ hours of gameplay. Do with that information as you will. The main story line was a complete blast. The game looks incredible, runs amazing, and has some incredibly interesting side quests. Some of the side missions are on level with the quality of the main story line.

While this game does not directly tell you how your choices effect the outcomes, everything you do really does have an impact. With DLC planned for the future and them constantly updating and improving the game, I definitely recommend this game. It goes on sale quite often as well so pick it up then if price is your issue.

Is it another Witcher 3? No. BUT It is a super high quality game that is highly immersive and very fun to play.

They took what made games like Skyrim, Dark Souls, Minecraft, and the Forest amazing games and combined it into the ultimate PVE (PVP if you want) experience. If the pixelated graphics are something thats turning you away thats understandable, but believe me when I say that the overall feel, aesthetic, and incredible gameplay completely make you immersed. I personally love the graphical style though. Its 20$ and a hell of a good time, just buy it already.
