Fun even if you are not a furry.

Jokes aside, the game has good bones: movement, shooting and gameplay. It's Battlefield with specialists but done better.
Perfomance is passable: 110 fps with dips into 80-60s, rarely to 30. 1080p, Ryzen 7500f + RTX 3070, 32GB 5600 DDR5.

There's talk this game should have been Free To Play. I tend to disagree. As of right now, the pricing is justified taking into account the available content. Moreover, this paywall will protect the game from cheaters. Despite what some say, there's no aggressive monetization nor P2W or P2Unlock. You can do it all by playing.

Try it. You could easily play 5 games and then refund it.

Remnant from the Ashes was a good game, and they made it even better. There's a great variety in classes, gear, abilities and enemies. Story is alright, if you care about it: you're saving several worlds by defeating great foes but there is indeed some peculiar lore to dig into.

The most important part is the feel of the game and the gameplay loop. The game is focused on NG+ and beyond with its procedural generation techniques, and I'm glad to report that both of these fundamental things are solid.

There are performance issues but that's modern gaming for y'all.

I've never been a Halo fan. I've never really played any installments of Halo. I've played various other shooters and this one is great. It plays, looks, sounds, and feels great.

As of now, it's in beta and just launched, so minor bugs remain, but it's alright. More content will arrive sooner or later.
