Excellent step into the genre of "platform fighters". If you're a fan of the Super Smash Bros. series, or simply want something akin to that experience, this is a great game to get into. It's made to play fast, and feels like it's been constructed from the blueprints of Melee's competitive scene. Additionally, a small roster keeps anyone from feeling overwhelmed by a large moveset. Despite this, the variety in the characters and their designs means there's one to fit every playstyle.

I would highly recommend this game for: competitive Smashers, general fans of Smash, those looking for more "platform fighters", or people looking for fast-paced and responsive gameplay.

If you don't like Smash's construction, or if you want a slower, more tactical approach, this game may not be for you.
