I think it's unfair to compare this to the Arkham series. That already has its own sequel and it's worse than this.
As its own thing, you have an open Gotham with lots of stuff to do and the option to choose and swap between one of four characters each with their own abilities, combat and movement styles.
Decent story and acting, plenty of references for those familiar with the Batman universe but sadly most of the more standard villains don't even get a mention.
Grab the standard edition it when it's on sale, there's so much to collect you won't miss the deluxe content.

I'm a little ashamed to admit that with these kind of games I often look up the solutions or just give up entirely when the puzzles get too difficult. This one however I managed to keep going until I'd solved them all without cheating.
There's just something about this game, the simple yet charming visuals and music, the large range of difficulty from "I am so smrt" to some absolute head-scratchers and the ability to switch back and forth between the different puzzle types keeps things fresh from start to end.
Strongly recommended.

A well-made puzzler only let down by a negligible plot and characters trying too hard to be edgy.
If you can see past that, there are some decent head-scratchers in here but nothing that feels unfair to the player. The DLC levels are a little trickier and add some new puzzle elements on top of those from the main game.
On the whole, I'd say Relicta is harder than Portal but easier than The Talos Principle but still recommended if you're a fan of the genre.

Much more than just a collection of puzzle levels, like Portal 1 & 2 before it, this could be just another piece of the cake that is Aperture. No lie.
Featuring voiced characters, connected levels, some new puzzle elements and an overarching story that places it between the original games, this feels like a true part of the Portal universe. And it's free! Definitely recommended to any fans of the series.

Just started this and after two missions, not a single achievement has dropped. I've tried all the fixes I can find but nothing helps.
On the other hand, the game works fine. Still disappointed though. Do better.

Edit: I think I sorted it out but some still haven't dropped that should have. Regardless, this shouldn't be an issue. The game and all parts of it should be accessible to everybody that buys it, not only those with the time and know-how to fix the bugs.

I was feeling quite proud of myself for getting through the main game without too much difficulty. Right away this DLC showed me that I'm not as clever as I thought I was.

Maybe get this on sale if you really want more of the game but I found a lot of the puzzles in this one are just frustrating. Rather than in the core game where once you worked out what to do it was usually fairly simple to execute, this one you're fighting with timing and the physics every step of the way. A number of times I just went with what obviously wasn't the way it was meant to be solved but good enough to quickly get me to the next area while my "solution" collapsed behind me. Gave up after a while and never finished.

A simple looking game that's really good at making you feel stupid.

I'm not sure I can recommend this one. Maybe it's the empty open world, maybe it's the lack of interesting characters/quests or maybe it's the over-RPGification of everything but compared to previous entries in the franchise I'm finding myself not really enjoying it. The completionist in me will probably still see it through to the end but for the first time I'm avoiding the side quests/collectibles as I find myself just not caring about the world they've built here.
It's a shame really, as a historical setting, ancient Egypt is one of the big ones. I just wish they'd done more with it.

**Edit: Ok, some more thoughts after finishing the game. While I admit that after the slow start, there was enough to keep me pushing through to the end, I still stand by some of the points above. The RPG system is way too much, upgrading skills and a bit of crafting is fine and on par with previous games in the series but constantly sorting through hundreds of weapons to find the ones with the slightly larger numbers gets real old real quick.
Story and characterisation is pretty weak in this one too. Killing those responsible for the death of my character's son, only to get "surprise! here's some more guys that were involved that you didn't know about." could have been done better. Some very bland characters too and none that were really memorable.
The modern day stuff was a bit lacking too, I feel the whole reason for the game wasn't really covered. Sure, there was another magic artifact but what happened to it after Bayek took it from whatzisname? Is that why Layla was in the cave? Where is it now?
The game does look really good though, the detail in the environments is probably the best I've seen in AC, even if it does all feel a bit similar after a while.
Another nice addition is the Discovery Tour feature. Bite-sized chunks of historical information that tell you all about the places/people/life of the period. It looks like this is in the following games too so I'm glad they kept this up.
It's a shame I can only pick yes/no for a review but I'll leave it as a negative just because as an Assassin's Creed game I think it could have been better but if you're interested in the setting, there might be something for you here.
