If you already own the original Dawn of War games, and you don't mind modding it some, you don't need this game. The only thing that has really been updated are the resolutions, still using the original textures. The game plays basically the same as the original games. This definitive edition combines all of the Dawn of War games and expansions. Only one of the intro videos plays, you miss the cinematic intro videos for Dark Crusade and Soulstorm. If you have not played the Dawn of War games before, this is a cheaper way to get all of the originals in one package. I'm disappointed that more work was not done by the devs to update this classic to modern standards. Oh and multiplayer is a mess.. like, that's the point of this game how do you mess this up?

Update: Fixed multiplayer. The textures are HD but do not give me the same vibe the original game did. I recommend it but read my review and be aware the missing cinematic intro videos.

Really fun city building game. DLC is mostly just cosmetic building skins and a few extra radio stations. Buy the base game and you'll get the complete experience. DLC is just extra fluff to support the devs. :)

It's everything a gamer could hope and want for. A classic from the mid 2000s brought to life once more in 2025. Everything is on point. The graphics have been updated to modern standards. Same amazing game play. Great job Bethesda!

The gameplay in GTA III Definitive is as engaging as ever, delivering the classic experience fans love. The graphics have seen noticeable improvements, though they come with a mix of impressions. It feels as if GTA III has been passed through a GTA V render engine—sometimes it looks impressive, but other times it feels inconsistent. NPC faces, for instance, strike an odd balance between being cartoonish and highly detailed.

Performance-wise, the game runs flawlessly on both PC and the Steam Deck, making it a joy to play on modern hardware. Overall, this game is a strong recommendation for newcomers who haven’t played GTA III before. However, for those who already own the original, upgrading solely for the graphics is a tougher decision. While the game looks significantly better and runs smoothly on current systems, at its core, it’s still the same game you’ve experienced before.

Game received for free with GTA+ paid membership.

GTA V now with RTX support

Edit:

The new anti-cheat engine has really helped cut down on the number of hackers/modders found on GTA online. This has upsides and downsides. The upside is the online experience is much more in line to how the developers want you to play the game. On the downside, the game no longer runs properly on the steam deck. Steaming is fine but playing natively is out of the question. At it's core this is still the same GTA V.

The GOAT MMO Old School RuneScape with a modern touch. Updated in every way to meet modern standards of gaming and online MMOs. It has the feeling the OG game gave in back 2007. For new and old players alike, this is worth playing and experiencing.

Note: Game received for free. Membership paid for.
