This game came on my radar during the Game Awards when Matt Heafy introduced it and said he was going to be in it. My attention was immediately grabbed. What followed after that was a trailer that absolutely hooked me. While I didn't know everyone on the list, seeing Matt, Randy from Lamb of God, Tatiana from Jinjer, and Alissa from Arch Enemy made this game one I had to follow. Then this summer they dropped the demo and I played the same level for hours getting better and better. Now that the game is out, I beat it in 2 days and absolutely love it.

Every song in the game is fantastic, but if I had to choose my top songs it would be these, in no particular order:
This Devastation ft. Matt Heafy of Trivium
Burial at Night fr. Tatiana Shmayluk of Jinjer
Stygia ft. Alissa White-Gluz of Arch Enemy
Acheron ft. Randy Blythe of Lamb of God
Dissolution ft. Bjorn "Speed" Strid of Soilwork

The best part of this game is when you hit the 16x fury point, the vocals kick in, and you fall into a flow state. At this point you don't even think about the beat anymore. You are just flowing through slaughtering all the demons that get in your way. For me it was in Yhelm. I had just gotten the weapon of the level, the music was blasting, and I was just vibing. These words don't do it justice, it was an amazing experience.

And the devs know how great these songs are. I love that they added a music player in the codex extras so after you beat a level you can go back and listen to the songs. Would be cool for them to add an option to listen to the song for each fury level in game. If they ever release the music outside the game, I am buying it because it is that good and I want to support them so they make more because this can't end here. There's too much talent and potential here.

TL;DR: Game is absolutely fantastic. pick it up ASAP.
