I just can't get enuf of this Game

incredible tie in with a incredible movie!
I'm really hoping we are getting more DLC for this game for either sides of it

Thanks SEGA for including some Sonic Remasters with this new Blue Spheres game

Shadow Generations easily is one of the best 3D Sonic games out there and should be the standard going forward in terms of gameplay, level designs and presentation

Sonic Generations is still amazing 13 years after it's launch and has some small additions in this
The new Drop Dash was initially underwhelming but I learned to utilize it and ended up liking it a lot however
Why can't it be disabled for Modern Sonic? I've accidentally lost a life many times because I accidentally used it while platforming
Why is it a ability for Classic Sonic so it can't be used in boss fights or challenges and uses up skill points?
The Chao are cute but offer nothing not even a reward for collecting all

Get real voice actors and artists maybe then is it worth our money

No matter how much and for how long I've been playing this franchise, I still suck

And I still love it

I really wanted to get into this game but it would never click for me
It took me a really long time to play through it and for the majority I did not really enjoy it

Overall the gameplay feels very clunky to me and I never enjoyed the feel of the weapons, movement and mechanics, being quite disappointed of the removal of spin reloads and the Bullettime combo mechanics of MP2
Also gone are any form of grenades or a melee button
Instead, there is a incredibly annoying new mechanic called Last Man Standing where if you are "killed" the game goes into a slow-mo and you have to shoot the guy who got the killing shot on you to have another chance at life
This is incredibly annoying and always pulls you out of the gameplay
Weapons felt wildly inaccurate which is a massive step down to the amazing feeling gunfights of GTA 4 and the previous Max Payne installments

But my biggest complaint with this game was the story and characterization of Max
While Rockstars writing isn't bad at all, I did not like their interpretation of his character and their type of story telling for a Max Payne game
This Game has a lot of cutscenes and most of these are unskippable
The ending of the game and for Max Paynes character however are beautifully done
Unfortunately this game has MANY cutscenes and almost none of them are ever skippable


In terms of presentation this game accels, graphically it holds up extremely well and generally has a lot of style to it with it's menus, effects and cutscenes, and features a incredible soundtrack made by HEALTH

I would really love to see what Remedy's ending to the Max Payne franchise would've looked like but we are getting MP1 + 2 remakes made by them

In the end, I finished this game feeling very disappointed and upset
I tried really hard to enjoy it but ultimately it just falls flat and in my eyes fails as a Max Payne Game
