新年好

Greetings; I am waiting for my laundry to dry and so I write to you! Once I had grown two species of corn; Mandan Bride with its gorgeous polished stone-like kernels of many colors and Bantam Improved with kernels the color of the sun. From nothing I made their field to lie, a copse of trees numbering 300, I felled them all and tore their stumps from the ground, with a pick I ploughed my field by hand and sowed those seeds, 511 of them! Roughly 250 of each type. 200 is required for genetic diversity. It was some of the hardest work I've done, but to watch a seedling go from 1CM to over 2.3 Meters! Amazing. But I had planted late and an early October frost had come and killed my field. From 490 living plants I harvested barely 20, I still hold a basket of 8 Mandan Bride for their wonderful color. Despite this failure I would perpetually recommend growing, it was extremely hard, but though that work was I given wonder at the growth of life.
