This game was made with love and respect towards the original Smash Bros games. The parry mechanic makes it more than just a cheap imitation, and the character's movements are fluid. The combos feel as natural as you would hope for and the guest characters are faithful to their games. This game is a must have for any Smash Bros fan who is looking for something fresh.

This game took a classic, made it look better than any other 2D adventure game, and brought it to a wider audience.

It adds new content to the original, adds graphics that every game should see as an example, gives the classic and updated sounds for the music and sound effects, and allows you to switch between the new and original styles at any time.

My only gripe is that there is no option to use the PC Engine version's graphics, but it really would just be an extra frill on a near flawless experience. And I wish it was longer so that I could play it more, but the charms to unlock the Gaelic Sword have already added to the gameplay.

One of my favorites of the year. I highly reccomend this game on any console you'd prefer.

Play this instead! You don't need a dealer and it has PVP so you can yell at your friends.

I found myself sinking hours into this game with my friends and not regretting a moment!
It's hard, but it's good hard and there's so much to do that I can still sink hours into it!
I have had a few bugs where my save was deleted and the procedurally generated versions of levels aren't that varied, but those two things do not take away from the awesome gameplay.
Definitely worth picking up, especilly during a sale.

Spent hours getting yelled at by Russians.

10/10 would do again.
