You can play the base set for free. But it is more than enough, with these cards and this game system, there are tons of interesting interactions. In no game in MTG Arena or so will you make decisions as in this game, it is so catchy but also requires a bunch of concentration. Sometimes it takes a minute or two to find an opponent, in the middle of the night you might not find anybody.

Wow, what a journey!

I loved Stacklands from the beginning and was fascinated by its simple charm and easy to get in mechanics. I usually don't play any citybuilders or similar management games but the card mechanic and the overall fun of interaction and design was so addicting.

This DLC truly digs deep and puts tons of depth into the Stacklands system. There are many new layers of complexity and it soon feels like a pretty daunting, automation-drived, fully fledged citybuilder at some point. At least compared to the base game or the other DLCs. I love it because it really gets the most out of Stacklands, like never before.

However, the added complexity can get overwhelming and I could see why some players may give a negative review to this DLC. I do not think that there is not enough tutorial, everything explains itself well. It is just a lot of thinking differently.
Loved the short-term addiction! 10/10

One of the most depressing games I have ever played...
Every scene and every part of this game works in favor for a very distinct, cold atmosphere. The story parts are consequent, impactful and presented in a way that a lot of different games could learn from. Super creatively done! What really stood out for me is that this game didn't even need that, the gameplay is just so much fun already. It is so immersive, I am shocked, I actualyl feel so terrible playing this (but also amazing).

I keep replaying it all the time. Yes it is short, but it just gets straight to the point and is super replayable. Deserves the success!

Game really makes you feel like it would be irresponsible to stop playing. You are being soaked into the game's flow so quickly and easily. It's amazing how consequent the idea of "everything is cards" is realized, too!

I don't like most horror games because a lot of them work in the same cheap way and rely on jumpscares and dull gameplay. This is one is so niche in its type of horror and there are some sweet and clever puzzles in this one. Damn, I really liked this one

I didn't think I would enjoy Point And Click Adventures because I always got stuck when I was younger. I just found out that I love Horror P&C. So I was very eager to check this out but man.. the puzzle design combined with the chonky pixel graphics induce a lot of pain. Very unsatisfying ending and the story doesn't really know where it's going, it's kind of a cheap mess although it starts of extremely promising.

If you looove P&C and Horror, I could still sort of recommend this game for the low price. At the end of the day, there are some great moments.

It's one of these games that can make people who don't usually play, feel what can be great in a game. Very accessible but a good 4hr rabbit whole with an intriguing story. Charming yet depressing and horrifying, lovely combo

It seems a bit pricy for the length of the main "campaign" but I found myself coming back to this game every 6 months or so and it's just such fun every time. Also, there are challenges like Katana Only which feels like playing these levels in a completely new way. After all, it's my favorite FPS game, I think
