That's good, hopefully it runs well on the new PC!

Hello :) Nice to see you again!

I saw your question about running Skyrim: Special Edition on your PC. It seems like in the remastered version, the HD texture pack is integrated in the game, special surfaces like snow and water are also improved, and the big hitters come in the form of lighitng changes; volumetric lighting (light rays through fog, for example), reworked shader effects, light emission, and reflections will all pack on the stress for a GPU. The Special Edition is just like taking the original Skyrim for PC and adding a host of visual improvement mods for systems that can handle it. In short, I believe you may be able to run the game with some of those visual effects turned down or off, at somewhere around 30fps. That's just my guess. If you own Skyrim and the DLCs, you might as well try to run it, since the upgrade for PC users is free with those prerequisites, but it might just end up looking slightly prettier than the original with a lower framerate :/ Regardless, happy gaming! Cheers!
