Collecting scrap metal in abandoned facilities and factories turns into the most terrifying day of your life due to the horrors trapped within. A lot of things I could say, but it will all boil down to: game good, community cool.

Only real downside is that the lobby search sucks, it feels like it's at least 60% broken servers that you can't join due to some error that the game won't specify to you. It's easy to cope with that as you can just host your own server and let people come to you or just keep trying. I guess you can expect this to be fixed but the game has been in early access for a while and there's no development roadmap that I'm able to find.

Top dog among fps games

The gameplay loop is extremely satisfying. The issue comes at higher difficulties where you'll see that there's usually only 1 viable "meta" build and you either run that or get stomped on, still quite fun to play though, especially if you don't care for the customization aspect and just want to shoot some bugs/bots.

The community is great, 200k negative reviews in 3 days to protest forced PSN linking which Sony had to apologize for and back away from their decision. Sure, Sony has some horrible business practices, but Arrowhead had nothing to do with it. The studio has been working hard on free new content for the game since launch.

There is a premium battle pass system that can only be unlocked through premium currency but you can grind out the premium currency by just playing the game, takes an hour or 2 if you straight up grind for it.

This game made me develop a habit of counting calories in real life due to having to do it in-game.

Despite the early access it looks and feels a finished product, yet there is much more to come in the following updates.

Riddled with horrible design choices and anti-consumer behavior. Overall a complete downgrade compared to VT2. The only thing that's fully complete upon game release is the microtransaction shop, everything else is "Coming Soon".

Big beards, big guns, big beers. This game has it all. There is no excuse not to rock and stone.
