I must say now that even though at the beginning of this games life, it was overhyped and I was mislead into buying it as I bought into this hype. However this disappointment for the game I so closely loved and followed has passed. I am now so happy that I bought the game and I am happy that I did not get a refund.
No Man's Sky is one of those games that when it started out it was as wide as the ocean but not deep enough to drown in. It was supposed to be the new leader in procedural generation and it was supposed to set a standard so high that it would pass the limit of the sky. At launch it was not this, the procedural generation was true but nothing else was. But as I am rewriting this review now I must say that Hello Games is doing a hell of a job to change al of that. They could have just cut and run but still today they are updating, fixing, and innovating their game and I am so happy they are doing so. Many of the features promised at the start are finally seeing the light of day, and for all these reasons I am happy to recommend No Man's Sky to everyone who loves to explore and discover.
