Super excited for Monster Hunter Wilds as I am a big fan of the MH franchise. Thousand of hours in World, hundreds in Rise and yet Wilds does not capture me as much as any of the other 2 titles.

I would love to tell you exactly why this is the case but I can't. I think it's a mix of a few things but Wilds missed the mark for me. Many bugs, runs badly and has some gameplay aspects that just feel weird. My favourite weapon, the Chargeblade, also has been changed and feels worse than in any of the previous 2 games.

As of right now, how the game is, the content it has, the bugs & performance issues it has, I just can't recommend it. Its a "wait for sale" situation. Meanwhile just grab any of the other 2 games if they're on sale and play those. They are better, more finished and more fun.

Super Fun! Been mostly playing it with my SO by ourselves and we still are enjoying ourselves only as 2 players. Hoping for updates on more categories and maybe game modes in the future!

Early Access? More Like full game with more content than many triple-A games. Absolutely amazing game. Best Roguelike to exist (with Hades I)

This game is so good that it taught over 200k nerds to collectively ♥♥♥♥ on Sony for making us link their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ PSN account. Would suggest the game to anyone who needs to team-building.

Played for around 2 Hours with my Partner! Super fun and scary experience, we both really enjoyed it, we also had some crazy jumpscares. Immersion was perfect, genuinely really good game that delivered what I expected.

Only negative part is that I would wish for more things to explore considering the price tag is around 9€. More Levels/Scenarios and the price would be appropriate. Right now I would rather put it at 3-5€

No matter how tempted you might be to play it an how much they are giving out for free, don't start. It's gonna be dead soon anyway.

Late to the Hades Hype but by far best investment this year for me. Insanely fun game, super addictive, super cute art-style. Overall just on point. 👍

Edit after many more hours:
I recommend this game. Big Learning Curve, first several hours are a pain but once youre past 5-10 hours it all makes much more sense and its actually fun. I just wanna jump back in and try out new builds and mess around. Yes, the game has tons of issues and wonky mechanics. It also crashes every hour at least once on me but its good. If the Devs listen and fix some stuff, this can be amazing. Honestly it is like a game in early access and should have released as one.

btw, the only reason I continued playing is because steam did not want to refund me the game and I wanted to get my moneys worth.

Original review after around 7 hours:
Oh Ravenbound. How excited I was for this game. I even tested the beta, gave some feedback to the devs and was hoping for something to waste my time on.
But even time wasted on this is too much of a waste.

Ravenbound has a few very good things, lets talk about those first.

+ It looks visually stunning. Good Job, the game looks great, cranking up graphics really makes this a fantastic looking game.
+ Good Concept.

and... thats kinda it.

So why is this game something I cant recommend anyone?

- Heavily Repetitive.
God, after already 7 hours it becomes so repetitive. Theres just no depth to the combat. Its just RT/RB spam and dodge spam. Nothing else. Its honestly just boring. Restart your vessel, cleanse the area, collect the non-hatred chests and go to the boss, move on to next area and die to some wonky camera stuff or an enemy that suddenly is so strong it nearly 3 shots you. Rinse and Repeat

- No feeling of progression.
I dont know if its just me but I just dont feel like Im making any progress. I unlock more cards and traits and all of that but... I just continue to get the low bad cards and there's no real guaranteed progress. No permanent stats increases to make your next run easier, nothing. I dont understand it tbh.

- The Hatred System
... is just so contradictive? Here, kill enemies but... you will make the boss stronger if you collect too much. So how do you become stronger without giving the every enemy a buff that keeps on stacking. I cant even track how much stronger all enemies became cause theres no indicator.

- No proper Ultrawide support.
Ye its 2023 and I cant play this game on my Ultrawide without some issues. Either the whole game is stretched from 16:9 to 21:9 or the UI is just cut off halfway. I did mention this in my beta-feedback but obviously it wasnt fixed.

Now that I think about it, I mentioned multiple issues in my beta-feedback that are still persistent and werent worked on.

This game could have been really cool, but sadly some people couldnt wait longer and had to release it as quickly as possible. I like the DEV team, I am in the discord and they're cool people and I hope they will take all the feedback in and change the game for the better.
If I could, I'd still refund it to be honest. Just not worth 30€ right now.
