Oh my god where do I begin.
TLDR: Game was good, then wasn't, but is great now

It's 2015 and my friends and I were on skype talking about games we could play. One friend suggested Robocraft and we started playing it. Playing the game for the first time, it felt awkward. I had never played a game quite like this one before but I was thoroughly enjoying myself. I racked up over 100 hours in days and it was one of, if not, the most entertaining and rewarding game I had ever played.

Fast forward to mid/late 2016 and I found myself not enjoying the new updates. Hell, I HATED them. I stopped playing the game as it just wasn't fun anymore.

2017 comes around and it's still the same. I was so angry. So angry that I left my first negative review of the game. IMO the game started veering off to the P2W side (some will argue that) and I just wasn't happy of the direction that the game was going. This was also around the time that Robocraft started taking a lot of heat from its older players, some with over 1,000 hours in the game. The game got a mixed rating and wasn't doing so well with its core community.

Fast forward to 2018 and I decided to try the game again.
I AM SO HAPPY I DID. The game is almost exactly as I remember it from 2015 (obviously with changes). The core gameplay is back and I think this is a great example of devs listening to the community and going back to the core concept of the game. This game was awesome in 2015 but the devs decided to add extra stuff that took away from the core concept of building with small blocks to make a big robot and using your creativity to create a unique machine. Thank you so much Freejam. You guys deserve so much credit, and while the game still has problems now, I am so thankful you guys turned Robocraft into the game that I loved.
