It can be intensely frustrating if you are new as you will die frequently and spend most of your time waiting for the game to finish. However once you get the hang of it you will find an exhilarating co-op tactical shooter, that still holds its own, despite its age.

The voiceover is irritating and it's better played with friends but a bloody good time it is.

If you like this kind of linier shooter then Modern Warfare 2 is one of the more polished of its ilk. I don't think the story is a patch on Modern Warfare and I certainly didn't feel as involved this time around. However the other aspects of the game such as the MP and the Special Ops mode are solid.

To be honest I haven't played the single player, though I hear it is good.
I spent some considerable time absorbed in the MP however. If you can get past the usual tossers that you have to tolerate in these things then you should enjoy the dusty chaos that ensues. Teamwork is imperative and it is immensely satisfying when you pull off a well earned victory.

If you don't yell quotes from 'Aliens' at your team mates while playing this you are truely a moron. It is akin to a 4 player co-op isometric version of Alien Breed, it is also bloody good fun and deceptively varied.
Plus it's FREE! What excuse do you have to not play it?

This game was pretty much perfect. Brilliantly executed idea, fantastic atmosphere and the few wonderous 'characters' will be burnt onto my psyche for the rest of eternity. Oh, and that song...

A word to Valve; I already have grave concerns about some bits, Please don't ♥♥♥♥ up Portal 2.

In my opinion this is one of the most innovative and captivating games released in a long time. As well as having top notch, puzzle based gameplay that challenges but rarely frustrates, it also has a beautiful atmosphere and almost perfect presentation.

I urge, nay insist, you play this. If it doesn't fuel your passion for the indie gaming scene then there is no hope for you.

It's worms. If you have any love for worms then you will (should?) have love for this. It doesn't change or add anything remarkable but that's not a bad thing. If you own Worms, World Party then it may not be a necessary purchase other than for the convenience of it being on Steam.

Pure old school genius. If you owned a spectrum, amstrad CPC, C64 or similar you need to play this game.

Mind bending puzzle stuffs and a beautiful, somewhat melancholy atmosphere. It presents as an old school platformer but time warping gameplay puts it into a league of its own.

Play it if you have any kind of gaming soul.
