Such a shame.
Decent game, good tactical elements.
I've been following this game since it was first announced, and I've played for a while now. The game just hasn't progressed much imo, and I'm starting to lose patience with its development.
One of the most frustrating things, though, is when an enemy AI player just jumps out behind a door and shotgun blasts you in the face with no warning lol.
I'll change the review if the game gets better after the Early Access period is over.

What a shame.
We all know this game is unfinished. I don't care what the press releases state. Kojima should have been allowed to at least finish the game, and you know, get credit for his work by picking up his reward???
Game mechanics are fun. It's goofy in all the right ways while still maintaining its tactical/stealth elements perfectly. Only thing I really hated about the game was how all guns pretty much shared 3 sound effects. That was kind of lazy.
Such a shame that this is probably going to be the last MGS title we see (Survive doesn't count).

Pros:
- Shooting mechanics is fun
- Multiplayer element is well made
- Good map pool
Cons:
- I wish the plot was expanded a little more, and a bit more direct. The lore has so much promise, but it's just... not fleshed out. Retconning characters without any explanations (like the matriarch) was a bit disappointing too
- Skin system kind of became what I hate about the modern gaming industry
- Change in theme from horror to goofy was a little off putting for me personally

What a shame.
The detail in this game is unreal. The weapon systems are super realistic.
The balance of this being "arcady" and a tactical shooter is actually pretty decent too.
Only things I dislike about this game:
- optimization: god it's awful (hence the shame)
- player community: errr... please start giving players consequences for toxicity
- lack of destruction in the map: I know this is more like a Rainbow Six: Siege or Battlefield thing, but this would have been a great feature

Overall, decent game. But it can be a lot better.

Optimization isn't the greatest, but it's still fun. The game has some cool mechanics with stealth and it has a decent balance of pvp and pve elements, though sometimes the maps can feel empty until we get to the exit points.

Underrated game, imo. I understand it can look like a Call of Duty ripoff, which it kind of is lol, but it still succeeds in its own ways.
The plot is interesting (at least the backround lore is), although the same can't really be said about the character development.
The multiplayer is surprisingly where this game truly shines. This game was created back in an era where games just kind of had a campaign and multiplayer mode just because it was the standard, but they almost "accidentally" created something super fun.
