I think I beat the game too quick without talking to the NPCs enough and now I can't do half the quest because their dialogues are out of sequence. One of the best Great roguelite out there.

My Lae'zel died at the start but "Lae'zel disapproves" kept popping up through out act 1. Sequence broke into the final dungeon of act 2 and skipped 20 hours of gameplay. Banished to Dev's Testing Room in act 3. This is peak video game.

Easily the least clunky Fromsoft's title out there. The combat flows amazingly, the bosses are fun despite their difficulties. Everything is fast in a good way, dying doesn't feel bad because you almost always can make it back to where you were in seconds. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ everything is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fast dude I feel like I'm on meth with half of these bossfights.

There is a world out there where this is my least favorite game ever. I'm not a very erotic person and the porn-aspect of this game kinda phase through me without leaving a mark. This game has decent writing in most places, some likeable characters, interesting lore, and maybe I'm giving it a thumbs up because that makes up for all the kinky ♥♥♥♥ I don't care for.

But the truth is, I thought it'd be funny if I just get so proficient in this game that I can to speedrun it, if I can finish a challenge run where the main character never nuts the entire game, if I never play the game as it's intended. It wasn't hard. But it was funny. And that's enough. (My lowest time was 1 hour 28 min, beat me.)

I could write an entire essay on why this game is so amazing as a follow up title, but I feel like it's that kind of game where the less you read about it the better the experience. So, I'll just address some concerns people have regarding the content.

No, you don't need to play the first game before this, all of Stanley Parable's original content is within the game, though I heavily recommend playing The Beginner's Guide first, as in my opinion you'd be able to appreciate some of the added content much more.

Yes, there's a lot of added content, in fact it has content almost enough to justify a full sequel yet it does not advertise itself as such. Which I completely respect.

From some of the reviews I've read. I suspect that some of the people who says the game does not have enough content for it's price somehow stopped playing half way through the new content and said "Yep, that's it, that's probably all the new content." then went on to give a negative review. Or perhaps they rushed through the new story line while ignoring most of the new content. It is very much a game tricks you into thinking it's over just to reveal that there's more. But I don't think it's hard to get most of the new content at all if you just pay the slightest attention.

TL;DR: Good game, amazing follow up. Also play the beginner's guide.
