Payday has come a long way and I've accompanied it for a significant amount of time. The more recent "Black market" debacle left a lot of players- new and veterans alike- completely gutted and offended. Well Payday has changed and I think now would be an appropriate time to change my review as well. No longer will microtransactions be a part of payday (with the exception of remaining "old generation" safes and drills. Pretty much the main issue with the whole downhill slope has been solved. I can say that with confidence. In tandem with the removal of the black market, the amount of work done on the new skill trees, the bug fixes, the communication held with the community, its all helped to make Payday feel alive again. Despite all the community's hate and criticism, Overkill had powered through and delivered more than we could have expected.
Massive respect to Overkill for sticking with the game and working so hard to bring this game's reputation back to where it was.
