Ehm, for a fan and who have played the Xbox version, this is not really a good remake map. You just seem to design areas for CT to easily get the hostage easily, especially how close they are without really giving much options for CTs to go the second rotute. My mother has always been a gamer. She played many various series throughout the decades, but her most recent interest was Day of Defeat: Source. I've personally never played any of the Day of Defeat games for my own reasons, nor did I have much interest, but my mom would tell me about her grand adventures exploring dod_avalanche. She was always enthusiastic about it and I would listen, even if I had no idea about anything she was saying.

On April 7th, my mom had a stroke and I found her slumped in her chair. She was rushed to the hospital but, after five long days, she passed away. After the funeral and some time to grieve, I was going through her things and found Day of Defeat: Source on her computer. It dawned on me that she never finished this game she was so ecstatic about, so I decided I would play it in her memory.
