I'm putting a bit more forward as a bit of a PSA: Unless it's wholesale revealed First Play Games is doing the terrible business practices, I'd say it's more fair ground to be more at WB Games and it's "money gathering" strategies.
They've pulled this around 5-6 times in a row or so by count, and maybe I missed a few. They've done this with Kill the Justice League, they did this with the Mortal Kombats, and did it with the Lord of the Rings SOLO GAME, WITH NO REAL PVP WHATSOEVER, Shadow of War, until people pointed out nothing was happening with that last one to warrant it, and got pulled only after immense backlash. This is a method that has, from this, on record, tear to shreds a good few times a lot of games sustainability and people wanting to play them, and it's all more over traced to this exact practice, and it deserves to be more recognized.
I am not gonna give the devs any form of flack, as this is, detailing on their website, their FIRST OFFICIAL GAME as a fully formed company, and it feels terrible if they're going to be put under the bus and blamed for it, because I feel the negativity is more deserving in a more fitting direction, and I just hope the game can shape up, I really want to see it do well.
