The Kex engine is a buggy mess. Some of the issues I've seen:

* Archviles can resurrect invulnerable enemies that can clip through doors.
* Collision detection problems that can cause you to get stuck on things like torches.
* Lots of drawing errors. Some things (like trees and touches) will flicker if they're too close to a wall
* Enemies spawning inside of other enemies. This will freeze them until one of the enemies is killed
* The automap scroll/zoom is so slow it's almost unusable.
* Sometimes sounds don't play properly.
* Visual problems when picking up health potions/armor helms. The screen turns white for a prolonged period of time.

The only reason to buy this port is to rip the wads and play them with a functional port like GZDoom. The original games were great. This product isn't.

Puzzles can't be solved logically and require guessing to proceed. Not really a puzzle game. Gets boring fast when it's turns into guesswork.

It was good until Valve introduced the Meet Your Match update. Competitive ruined it.
