If you're thinking about getting The Bazaar when it launches on Steam, DON'T and buy this instead!

Great lil game, has the potential to be the best farming sim/creature collector hybrid on the market atm. Dev is also HIGHLY active both with patches/support and in discord, where they do regular polls for features and stuff and just chill with the community.

Don't listen to the whiners, the new update is SIGNIFICANTLY better than the previous version.

Yes, the game has changed a lot with this update, which is why people are mad (cos change = bad), but having also been here from launch, almost everything has been improved upon.

The new map is expansive (9 times bigger), with more resources, and much more area to farm.

The new farming based progression system is much better than just cleaning up a few small biomes to progress (biome cleaning is still a thing though which is nice, but now farming is the main focus). People saying it's grindy clearly a) have never played another farming sim, which are known for being kinda grindy, and b) don't understand how to rotate crops to boost yield and multiply their seeds quickly, cos it's not even a big grind (I'm at Milestone 5 out of 10 after about 20 in-game days).

Farming has been improved massively, before it was all done with planters, now you can actually plough big fields.

The new system where you mod parts you build for the mech allows for much more *functional* customisation than before, you can stack speed boosts, inventory capacity upgrades, jet boost upgrades etc on different mech parts to spec your mech for different things, then have these as preset loadouts you can freely switch to for farming or exploration/resource harvesting.

You can actually build a house now with the new modular building, i..e freely place foundations, walls, floors, stairs etc. which you couldn't do before, everything used to be pre-fab and you couldn't even go inside and walk around. Now you can.

Yeah they introduced damage, hazards, fuel etc. but you can edit or disable these in settings easily. It still feels cozy to play.

I could go on, but tl;dr:
Update is great, game is better than ever.

Very boring, very little to do and some of the game systems are just annoying. Wanted to refund but accidentally went past the time sitting in the menu doing other stuff. Seems like very little effort has been put it to execute a good concept. Definitely avoid for now.

Seemed alright at first, but the longer you play, the more disappointed you get. Schedule 1 annihilated them. Maybe don't sue solo indie devs cos they did a better job than your entire studio.

Genuinely amazing game, already better than DDS1 and DDS2, the dev is great as well, 4 patches in the first 5 days with major updates monthly and a discord poll to determine what gets prioritised.

Addictive as ♥♥♥♥, just buy it already!

Great game with great devs, chill with a friendly community (in PvE anyway). Kinda like a dystopian scifi version of Palworld

The devs (Licorice ehf) released this in EA, abandoned it, then a year later released another game (Plasma) in EA and abandoned that. Avoid these devs!
