Amazing environemnts, one of the best representations of the 40k universe.
Really solid gunplay, really fun music.
Some jank is present, but nothing too gamebreaking that cannot be fixed with a mission restart.

Really neat retro FPS that is heavily inspired by old Castlevania games. Collect hearts from candles to earn ammunition for your special attacks, respawning enemies and multiple bosses. All packed into a retro looking package with pleasant 8bit music and open world.

Even though the whole game is inspired by certain games, the fact that enemies respawn constantly and sometimes even right behind the player, instantly killing him, is REALLY annoying sometimes. But if you're not bothered by that it is a really neat and interesting FPS.

Really interesting and engaging FPS, feels and plays like the Source engine, with all it's quirks. G-String has an incredible attention to enviromental detail and presents very dirty, degraded and depressing version of the future. Weapons usually do not go fat away from the usual FPS (or more specifically Half-Life 2) arsenal, but the world building, the visual vistas and various events that keep on happening made me want to push forward to see what the next area holds.

Combat is VERY Source-type, as in kinda janky and may feel a little weird. Some combat encounters can end in seconds with the player eating dirt from an unexpected sentry or heavy trooper. But overall it's really servicable and doesn't pull you from the game. Like in Half-Life 2, combat is intertwined with exploration/puzzle segments, which can be very atmospheric and add alot to the overall experience.

The world of G-String is incredibly beautiful in it's ugliness. It is a world of decay and dirt, filled with dystopian, cyberpunk themes and really advanced and detailed environments (especially for the Source engine).

I wasn't expecting it to be this long, when I was afraid I'd be approaching the end, it turned out I was just past the approximate middle of the game. Story might be a little confusing and chaotic at times, but it is really enjoyable to get into and endulge in.

If you like Half-Life 2, mods for Half-Life 2 and games that feel really similiar to HL2, then I can safely recommend it to you. With it's aesthetic and atmosphere, it really reminds me of another Source-based game, E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy.

It's a really neat small game. It's rather short but art is really nice and gameplay is simple but it is really fitting to the story it tells.

I may be biased because I really like quality pixelart.
Reminds me about neat games you could find on Newgrounds/Armor Games.
8/10

Sequel that went wrong. Amalgamation of some good and interesting ideas, covered in some really bad design, rushed development, platform power limitation and general casualization.

Game by itself wouldn't be that bad if it had not been for the fact that it's a sequel to DX1.
All of the main gameplay elements were dumbed down and whole game takes place in claustrophobic levels, that often make no logical sense.
Basic elements of an immersive sim are here, multiple choices and ways to approach each problem.
The only issue is that very often all of those ways lead to the same outcome.
There are many interesting improvements over the DX1, like flashlight not using energy anymore and melee build having some extra implants that help with fighting against the machines and bots.
Balance is another problem, near the mid to the end game player is often semi-forced to use heavy weaponry no matter what.

Overall it's a enjoyable experience, nothing special but its still a Deus Ex game in its roots. Just kinda handicapped and malformed.

Really neat FPS on DooM engine. Greatly improved over the first one. Weapons are more unique and varied than its predecessor's.

Extremely neat and interesting game on the Doom's engine. Provides everything what it promises on the store page.
Interesting setting, very neat music, satisfying sound effects and punchy gunplay. All enveloped in pleasant pixelart.

It is an amazing throwback to classic FPS's with beautiful pixel-art-type graphics and satisfying gunplay. Fast-paced and rather well paced action, with plethra of upgrades and unlocks for weapons makes each encounter very punchy, varied and satisfying.

Music in Project Warlock is incredibly fitting for its action and its looks, grabbing its inspirations from more retro-style sounds that do wonders for the overall presentation and feel of the game.

On top of classic and sometimes not-so-classic weapon roster, we have various spells, like Divine Shield that gives us a protective shield that absorbs few shots, or more destructive ones, like ball of energy that shoots lighting strikes at all surrounding enemies (even through walls!) or enchanted magical dynamite rods or axes.

Another very interesting ingredient in this mixture is light RPG system with 4 stats to increase and various perks to unlock with each level (or each 5 levels for perks).

Overall it's a very intersting and fun game, that provides satisfying gameplay sitting on top of its pleasing presentation and soundtrack. If I'd have to give it a numerical score it would be solid 8/10 .
Only real criticism I have of it its initial frustration with lack of jump button and few frustration death pits at later levels, but those are not really that important in grander outlook.
