I don't have many hours played on PC for this title, I have played through Mass Effect originally on the Xbox several times. When I first got Mass Effect I didn't know what to expect, at first it felt very tame, and slow. But after playing through the game for a couple of hours I realized how it was a very story oriented game (as all Bioware games are) and all stories start out slow. Anyway, the game follows the protagonist Commander Shepard that over the duration of the game gains new allies and crew members. In Mass Effect, all characters are unique, and as you play through all the Mass Effect titles you will grow to love, care about, and hate these characters. Since this game is very decision based you will experience the consequences of your own choices and actions throughout the trilogy, and these choices will determine how YOU like the story to be played out. If you play Mass Effect you'll likely prefer the story the way you first completed it, which is great because that is YOUR story, and it always will be. This is a great game with hours of gameplay. This is my favorite video game series, and would recommend anyone play this.
