Hi! This kicks ass!

What is worth remembering and what do we have to let go of? Whenever I took a break from this game I found myself thinking about it all the time and I would deep dive into Wikipedia articles, essays, and documentaries about the themes within. It's really something special.

It's small, it's heartfelt and it's funny. I had some memorable dates with some memorable villages and I hung out with a bunch of goats. If you like the writing in the tv show Our Flag Means Death, I think you'll have a good time with this one.

After hearing some very positive reviews I dived into The Sexy Brutale with high expectations, and I was not disappointed. This jazzy murder fest requires the player to explore a huge mansion full of intricate puzzles, with the mission of trying to save the victims before their murder is committed. Thanks to your magic time-looping abilities, you have infinite chances to find the information you need to complete your objective. The colorful art direction and the swinging soundtrack made this hidden gem an absolute delight to play, and I highly recommend that you do not miss out on this.

At first glance Pyre seemed like a shallow repetitive sports game with a lot of text, but once I got into it I realized this is one of the most unique games I've played this year. With a memorable cast of odd characters banished from society, you must decide who goes free and who stays imprisoned in a barren underworld. And you will invent a whole lot of new curse words as you try to score goals in this fresh take on 3v3 soccer.

Supergiant Games once again prove that they are constantly pushing traditional game genres forward with innovative thinking and daring ideas. The art is gorgeous, the music is suggestive and the gameplay is solid. One of my favourites 2017.
