solid 'proof of concept' - but you should know thats what you're getting into when you buy this.

unoptimised and buggy as hell, but that was entirely expected from what the devs said, absoloutely wait longer if you want a more polished experience.

the gameplay loop works and i can already tell that they have that down pat which is the most important part i was concerned about. art style and atmosphere is obviously phenominal. worth buying if its something you want to help foster, but if its something you want a polished experience with your friends to play i'd reccomend giving it a little bit. the pace at which development has gone has been frankly lightning quick, i dont expect it to take too long at all for the worst of the bugs and optimisation issues to be ironed out.

utterly stunning. i cried. hands-down the best hl2 mod ive ever played.

The core experience of the game feels almost impossible to play with very buggy AI. doing simple commands such as movement or attacking will at best be clunky or at worst directly harmful. Ive commanded artillery to fire at units a couple hundred meters ahead of it, for it to then decide to launch all of its volleys at my right flank, being almost more than 90 degrees away from my original target. This games AI problems are by far the worst in the series and i cant reccomend it in the slightest.

At this point i don't even remember if this is a real game or not, whenever i play it i personally feel like ive been thrown into a hellish fever dream, but i love going back to it every single time.
