Persona 5 Royal is Simply A Masterpiece of Style, Story, and Soul!

I Just finished Persona 5 Royal and I can honestly say it's one of the best games I've ever played. Everything from the striking art style to the incredible soundtrack kept me hooked for over 100 hours. The characters are lovely and grows in meaningful ways, and the story balances mystery, rebellion, and emotional depth like few games can.

The turn-based combat is very stylish and strategic, with tons of customization through Personas and skill fusions. However it can be quite chore to grind away enemy health points at times. Yet still it’s the atmospheres vibe that makes this game unforgettable.

I have a few criticism about some mechanics. Overall it is a very improved Persona game compared to its previous titles yet it's not without it's annoyances. I find the whole persona fusing experience too tidious. I wish they could give us more intiutive fusing mechanics because what ends up happening is due to calculation of fusing being a chore I just end up not caring what I end up with and fail to properly create the persona with abilities I want. I mean it doesn't mean you won't come up with a good persona deck, but it's just a bit holding on the fun for me.

If you're even remotely interested in JRPGs or story driven games, Persona 5 Royal is like the absolute game to play.

I'm disappointed to have peer to peer gaming is being locked behind private pay to play servers. We can have that in Conan but ooh we can't have it in Dune. That's how bad management and money grubbing starts.

This is the most fun I've had playing an action game in years.

I love everything about Stellar Blade. The combat, world, and characters are all amazing. However, the story leaves a bit to be desired. After 23 hours, I still haven't fully understood what's even happening. The storytelling relies too heavily on scattered notes and texts rather then immersive storytelling or at least have been so far.

Aside from that, the combat and world exploration are incredibly engaging, encouraging me to explore every corner thoroughly. The characters look fantastic, making the photo and selfie modes particularly enjoyable. These photo modes are exceptionally well-crafted, offering many creative options to capture stunning images and dynamic npc reactions in selfie mode.

Combat doesn't require extremely precise timing like Expedition 33 but compensates with a satisfying, cinematic feel. Additionally, this game provides the best haptic feedback I've ever experienced on a DualSense controller. You can distinctly feel Eve's footsteps, jumps, rain, tremors, and more with a proper not overwhelming way. I even once felt Eve's finger's go through a bookshelf in same exact way she touched the shelf which shows how much attention goes in it. The controller’s speaker is also cleverly utilized, enhancing gameplay with sounds effects when you do a perfect parry and other stuff like atmospheric radio chatter as examples. Also the game's optimization has been a blast where I'd get average of 60 on my ultrawide monitor from standart games here I get around 100 to 120 as average.

Additionally, dismissing Stellar Blade's success by pushing the narrative of it being solely a sex appeal game or suggesting that only superficial factors or "gooners" are the reason that drove its sales is both illogical and insulting intelligence of potential buyers. If it were that easy to have customers "sex appeal" taken advantage, market would've been filled with such games, which is not the case. Any customer always seek tangible benefits in their purchases first before anything which Stellar Blade clearly delivers on gameplay, aesthetics, and immersive experience and such is rewarded by customers in an average, overwhelmingly positive reviews (around 95%) reflect the genuine appreciation from smart, discerning players. Don't give face to any dishonest reviews out there. Also thanks for the amount of language options.

One of the most boring game ever and greedy with their upcoming game, can't take critisicm for it and instead bans from threads.

Game only had visual appeal for the time of its release, generic all over, never felt fun. It is a knockoff fallout afterall what do you expect? Bethesda uses a fun formula created in skyrim and revolves around it without innovating too much which gives a standart experience for a player, obsidian however doesn't grasp the core things that make a game fun and has no actual fun formula. Just visual appeal powered by modern tech and trying to rely on it. I can easily say obsidian is going from same route as ubisoft.

It is good and imo has much more potential yet to be unlocked. The gameplay is enjoyable but it is not in the most polished and intuitive state. For now it feels like just connect the dots game from mission to mission while giving a great illusion of consctruction with its cool physics system but yet not being a real simulation experience. There are cool events between missions and I've yet to complete all but it already feels there are missing features that makes a player like me raise "why isn't this possible?" questions often. Hopefully dlcs will build over the already existing system but for now I'd recommend people to wait on this game, unless they know what they want and are ok with just playing without so high expectations. Picking it up in sale is also a good idea. It apparently also has coop which can be very fun maybe friends can consider buying at full price.

If there is an optimization of the year award this game should recieve it, it's crazy and unbelievable how smooth and high fps this game runs on my ultrawide. Besides that the gameplay is crazy good, I can't wait for the actual game to come out. Feels like a solid 10/10 game so far.

This is a much more straightforward Elden Ring experience compared to first one. You just gotta prepare everynight adequately then survive until night 3 and do your best to overcome the last nights challenge. Then repeat same on different expedition with each expedition having different bosses with different vulnurabilities that you can take advantage of. If you don't prepare properly however you are in for a massive thrashing. Although bosses are quite tough and challenging having 2 other buddies makes it feel like a great burden is shared so you won't feel so much penaltied even if you fail after 3 nights and fail to kill the last boss. You'll just figure it out after some hours.

Personal take on the game is, I like first Elden Ring game it has great openworld but for a second game I feel like this is a nice choice because it increases the tempo up. Well except maybe this isn't considered as sequel but It'd be quite boring if they just had same formula so having something fresh in the fridge is good in my book. What I mean is you have faster travel speed, and vaulting over great heights with indicated climbing areas to speed up your time while traveling to get you onto next battle. Then it's up to your skills to slay and hope for good loot. It's fun fast paced but well adjusted Elden Ring experience for those who are looking for a new Elden Ring or just wanna experience straight up action. My favs are Ruclose and Duchess pretty cool mage and an acrobatic lady makes the game very fun for me. I always enjoy slick movements from my characters and this does it well.

About some cons:
For me they were just technical stuff, rogue like elements are fine except you don't adjust your attributes which can be considered neutral point rather than a con. But technical issues are disappointing really. Meanwhile Stellar Blade adds all kinds of aspect ratio and framerate and even japanese and chinese dub support Elden Ring just says I won't touch any technical stuff. Still no ultrawide and no framerate unlock.. and it's a bit of "extra" con but there aren't excessive language support either. It does the bare minimum on technical side of things.

Overall it is a great game and for 26$ for base and 36$ for deluxe in my area (MENA) it's a fineish deal. Most of all I appreciate the courage to have a new take on Elden Ring and change it to roguelike. Even if it comes with mixed reviews in my honest opinion it shows fromsoftwares good intentions to strive for creativity which should be supported. Hopes for new titles to have more accessibility until then play this awesome gaem. 9/10

What an amazing game this is!

It has it all, awesome characters, story, gameplay, music, visuals..
Even crashing 40 times didn't bother me to %100 the game (not an exaggeration)
You have great challenging levels and joy of music to listen along to. Plots are very cool and mystery of it will make you keep playing. Characters are lovable but some companions have little weight compared to main ones. Turn based gameplay feels good and progresses in fun ways.
I don't want to talk about the rest of the game because after saying all the good in the game I'd rather avoid peoples joy of exploring and adventuring by themselves. Though what I can say is there is a wide variety of content to explore which are mostly environmental story telling but quite nicely done so, just a few player choices, sadly no replayability value unless you head straight to new game+ without completing side content in your first try and lastly I think the joy of the more you play having your game canvas horizon expanding and it being a joy to witness.

10/10
