Honestly, it's really fun. Only real problem is that there's not really enough playing most of the time. But if you have friends and either a good enough internet connection between you all or you can invite them over, it's really fun, even casually.

Really nice for planning things out!

It does have its quirks and is sometimes a bit weird with numbers (like with at least some feedback loops), but it's the best tool I've found that lets you actually model and helps visualize the factory yourself.

It's fun, and that's all that matters for me

Very confusing as to what you're actually supposed to do in the missions. Movement somehow feels slow and fast at the same time, but in the wrong areas. This game feels like it tries too hard to be Deep Rock Galactic, Risk of Rain 2, and maybe even a bit of Helldivers 2 at the same time, and fails at all of them. Maybe things will improve in the future, but for now, it just doesn't feel very good to play.

The core gameplay loop is just so generic. Everything is pretty much accessible from the start, and doesn't really add any new mechanics as you progress (from what I can see). Maybe in the future as it gets more content it'll be better, but for now, it's not worth it in my opinion.

The developers are very passionate about this game and put so much effort into making the player experience as best as possible. The gameplay loop is surprisingly not all too repetitive; the attention to detail is awesome; and despite having a season pass and other things from lots of other live service games, the monetization is very much not predatory, meaning the only things you can purchase (other than the game, of course) is purely cosmetic DLC, and that's not shoved down your face. Most cosmetics are also simply earned by playing the game! There's not too much of a grind to unlock weapons, perks, cosmetics and the like- you get them by playing the game normally, without needing too much thought put into what you're doing. The music is also so insane; they put you into certain mindsets, and can even make you want to play the game if you're listening to it outside of in-game (at least for me)! The community is awesome, playing with random people is just as fun as playing with friends.

Overall, I would highly recommend Deep Rock Galactic to anyone. This is my current autistic obsession, after all.
