Janky garbage from somebody who has clearly never even seen an airsoft gun in the real world let alone an actual firearm. The "game" wants you to weld on optics and red dot sights. Onto a rail. A rail that exists so parts can be quickly and securely attached and then later detached again.

Controller input is broken for many players, the issue has been reported for years and remains unfixed and controls can't be remapped.

Let me put it this way. I have been playing the game for over 10 years for free and they are still adding new content. If you like Star Trek it is a must play. If you like sci-fi or MMORPGs even a little there is a good chance you will enjoy yourself.

If you are expecting a good metroidvainia game this is not it. It has a leveling system that is worthless. Seriously, why give a player 300 hit points and then have basic enemies able to do 180 damage with one hit. So you think to yourself you just need to level up and then you will have more health but then you discover that not only does leveling up take way too long but that you only get an extra 2 hit points per level.

Oh boy, you finally earned a ranged attack. Oh wait, it only has 10 uses, it takes 4 shots to kill a basic enemy. But I can get more ammo from killing enemies, right? RIGHT? No. :( you only get to refill abilities at save points.

The whole thing feels like the dev saw what metroidvania games looked like and decided to make one without playing any or having any understanding of the way they worked.

The man who designed and programmed the game is dead. The studio is gone. Controllers don't work correctly and will never be fixed (again, the only programmer died)

Where does the money go if you buy it now?

The idea of the game is interesting but given the bugs and quirks that will never be fixed I can't recommend buying it or really even bothering to play it free.

Played through tutorial, started first real stage, climbed a wall and fell through the world. Searched forums and the bug has existed for years in different areas of the game and the bug can happen to bosses too. So at any point you can just hit a bug blocking progress with no solution except to just quit and start over and hope it doesn't happen again. No thanks, I'll just go play something else.

Currently the game has two game breaking bugs a few hours into the story. If you trigger one of them the story will stop progressing. The only current "fix" is to join the game of somebody else that has already finished the story step where the bug happened. But by default matchmaking sets everybodies games to private so unless you have a friend or somebody on a forum to join up with you just have to start a new character and hope neither story breaking bug happens on that one.

Not recommended until game is fixed. It has been 8 months+ as of the time of this review.

The perfect drivers ed tool.

More than a decade has passed since I first played this game and I still view small monkeys as a serious threat.

Aviod this like the plague. It controls horribly, it sounds awful, it looks awful, the gameplay is awful, and the camera is awful.

There is only one song. It is short. It is annoying. IT NEVER STOPS LOOPING.
The control will remind you of Superman 64. There is no possibility of this being a good thing.
The textures will make you question rather or not you should have your eyes checked.
There are only 3 levels, they are tiny, the design is awful, and they don't make any sense.
They didn't even bother to give the game window a proper title. On your taskbar it just says assets. This is fairly ironic since game wise it has no assets.

I've seen better games designed, written, tested, and released in a single weekend.

The developers gave away copies for free and I still can't find a single nice thing to say about it other than the fact that it has trading cards.
