Quick, brutal, tight. Love this for couch surfing games.

The Nemesis System is the reason to play this game. Turns an open world game into an emergent story, and here's hoping the concept gets picked up by other games.

My proximity to the subject makes it all the more frustrating that the simulation doesn't approach design the way I would. In particular, it's definitely using a waterfall design method, and doesn't allow you to take systems developed in one game and re-use them in others. However, the storyline (uncommon in the genre) and the way the world reacts to your decisions both make this worth a few hours of play. Pick it up at a discount, if you like that sort of thing.

While various glitches and crashes still haunt this game years after release, the storyline is epic and the systems are pretty good. Play it to explore the beautiful, detailed world.
