This game is so mid and basically abandoned i would be playing insurgency 2014 still if this stupid game didn't come out and kill it.

I know the word immersive gets thrown around alot when talking about games, but i remember one day i was up till 2am playing this game and was so locked in i completely forgot about everything around me and who i was and everything. Literally felt like i woke up from one of those crazy afternoon naps.

This game isn't flawless its old, very janky and buggy but there's nothing else like it.

The game is good but its way too long not only from a length perspective but also it just feels like there is so much padding i dont have that many hours more in other yakuza games but in this one every hour drags the game has a really good story and the combat is good for the most part, kiryu by far is the most op in this game but i just didn't find shinada or saejima's parts that interesting they did have their moments such as the saejima hunting minigame and the beginning of shinada's part,

Theres such a ridiculous amount of side content the biggest highlight are the minigames hunting and taxi driving are peak yakuza.

I think act 1 (kiryu's part) was amazing overall a 8/10 game some parts are really good and other parts aren't bad but more just boring kinda idk. I can understand why some people hate this game but for me its my favourite in the series especially the ending.

terrible game constant lag, connection issues and the controls feel floaty and slow and how do you make a fighting game with no native controller support for play station and switch controllers. YOU LITTERALLY HAVE A PS PORT OF THE GAME.

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIX YOUR F.UCKING HITREG AND NETCODE ITS SO HORRENDOUS. THIS GAME IS BORDERLINE UNPLAYABLE BECAUSE ALL IT DOES IS LAG ALL THE TIME HOW THE HELL DO PEOPLE PLAY THIS POS.

Boring game, honestly half life 1 is way better. This game is just u riding around in your stupid buggy or airboat thing, ravenholm is litterally the only thing people talk about when it comes to this game and it wasn't anything crazy. Alyx is also an annoying and the gunplay feels lackluster half life 1 had better feeling guns half life 2 at the very least has the revolver and the shotgun which actually feel like guns and not waterguns.

My main problem with this game is that it feels like a tech demo the physics are cool and don't get me wrong the graphics are amazing for 2004 it could easily pass for a game made post 2010 but the actual game itself and the plot feel so generic and boring. Half life 1 was also flexing its new 3d graphics and stuff back in the day (the tram intro) but it was atleast a fun game. Half life 2 compared to its predecessor is technically impressive with all its fancy graphics and physics but honestly its such a bore atleast episode 2 was good, honestly if the whole game was similar to episode 2 I'd understand the hype but don't get me wrong this game is still important for pushing the industry forward with its mo cap, graphics, physics and the source engine but the "game" itself is mediocre af.
