Great game in the somewhat lacking space of monster collection games in PC. Well designed talent trees and interesting combinations and synergies that make you do hard choices between which monsters to use and how to build them. The vast majority of the monsters feel viable and you can build teams around pretty much any monster. The theorycraft and balance are easily the best aspects of the game.
Now for the lesser parts. The game tends to drag on a bit too much, with fights after the mid-game being a slog, especially if your teams are not the bursty types. The exploration abilities are pretty fun in the beginning, but they really annoying to use after a while. You need to constantly keep switching between them to transverse the map which kills the pace. They are also a bit vague in what they can actually do, and you might miss interactions if you don't realize there are tiers of the same skill which allows you to do more. You need to carry a lot of monsters with you due to this. Would love to see a tighter system where you unlock these "tiers" and all monsters with the relevant skill get upgraded.
The game could also use a UX pass to improve access to commonly used screens with less clicks.

Overall a great game that will test your patience and will as you progress, keeping you wondering if the fun of unlocking those higher levels of talents with all those new build opportunities is worth the pain of slogging through the constant multiple click menus and the slow trash-mob fights. For me it was, but only barely.

A great take on the mercenary party-esque genre (think Battle Brothers, sprinkles of Darkest Dungeon), with some rogue-lite mechanics reminiscent of games like Faster Than Light. Tight tactical combat, that on some larger fights tends to drag on too long. I would love to see a slightly faster game mode with quicker, small sized fights in smaller maps.

Pretty good hybrid with Autobattler ideas in a Slay the Spire package. Has some pretty crazy combos with plenty of positive feedback loops. Needs more content (More heroes, more relics, etc) and needs some more agency with RNG, especially as you add more content and is harder to get what you need.
In its current state, you get about 20h of really fun and enjoyable gameplay (if you are into this sort of games).
The devs are REALLY active in discord and fix issues and take suggestions really quickly (I had issues reported , fixed and updated while I was in a single run). They are really nice too.

Do you enjoy games like slay the spire and monster train, but you enjoy the building up and synergy aspects rather than the combat itself? This is a must-have gem. With the auto-battle aspect of the combat, you can focus on the best part of roguelites and deck-builders: your set-up and progression.
The developer is passionate about the game and it shows, with frequent thoughtful updates.

A fantastic take on a futuristic lite-esque imagination of Dwarf Fortress. Brutal and fun, especially when you care about your colonists, look at their origins and backstories, and pay atention to the systems-driven story being built before you as you play. When you get tired of playing through cenarios you can come up with, you have the thriving workshop to download dozens of mods that will extend your fun for hundreds of hours.
Brilliant game.
