After what has quite frankly been one of the worst years to be a PC gamer, filled with downright broken and annoyingly buggy releases, this game almost single-handedly redeemed PC gaming for me in 2023. I loved every second of it (even when I was getting battered by some of the bosses).

Honestly yes, the ports are lacklustre and need some mods to run at their best. But it's Metal Gear, finally on PC. I've been waiting for this for a very long time. Especially a true PC port of MGS3.

Konami, please release MGS4 from its PS3 prison next 😀

I'll join in the downvoting because of how Blizzard went back on their PvE promises for this game, and then released this massively diminished version and charged extra for it.

I love Overwatch but this has been mismanaged at every level. Do better, Blizzard.

EDIT: I'm shocked that this is getting destroyed in the reviews yet Dead Space Remake (which is absolute rubbish on PC) has universal acclaim. I'm guessing folks are not waiting for the shader caching to complete? the game should probably make that more obvious. Geez...

A fantastic PC version and a very fun game. Huge props to Tango Gameworks for this. Give it a try!

The traversal stuttering problem is bad enough that it pulls you right out of the immersion.

BUYER BEWARE: The Devs seem to have abandoned the game and are ignoring (or in my case banning) anyone who reports the stuttering issue.

If you dislike stuttering, avoid this mess.

It's great! As a (very) long-term Sonic fan I love this, it brings massive amounts of nostalgia.

I have only one serious gripe and it's that the Adventure mode is much too hand-holdy. I want to play the games with the original lives/continues system but I still want the lovely 16:9 presentation. Feels like a bizarre choice to have to pick one or the other. I really hope that Sega sees fit to provide more options to customise the experience in the future.

Apart from that, amazing!

Amazing game, harder than Dark Souls imo. Highly recommended.
