Disconnected events, a lack of proper character development ('brief' character introductions and then having you 'learn' characters through random events is not what I'd consider "development"), static personalities that are overshadowed by extreme amounts of force-fed dialogue on current social/political agendas, really does NOT make it an enjoyable experience in my personal opinion.

If you're looking for a relatively easy 'lite-versioned' dating-sim that constantly reminds you of real-world issues in order to 'sound relevant', be my guest. That is not my cup of tea.
