Good fun, very much in the spirit of earlier Ron Gilbert led projects, with a fair bit of meta commentary. Puzzles are a bit on the simple side, but still are entertaining. The voice acting is terrific, with Dominic Armato knocking it out of the park as per usual. If you're a fan of the other MI games, particularly 1 and 2, you'll enjoy this just for the number of callbacks and references alone. Is it a good conclusion to the series? That's going to be very much up to the individual, but for me I feel it's appropriate.

A super impressive piece of work, especially for a fan projects. This game improves mechanically on Skyrim in just about every way - combat, levelling, cinematics, world design, etc., but also provides a story right in line with RPGs made by the likes of BioWare, Obisidian, or CDProjekt. Easily a better written game than any of the Bethesda games since Kirkbride left. If you're looking for a powerful narrative experience with gameplay that doesn't treat you like a child, look no further.

RIP AND TEAR YOUR GUTS! RIP AND TEAR!

DOOM was the most fun I've had in a game in a while. By focusing on realism over mechanics, modern shooters have lost so much of the fun that used to make them so memorable. DOOM goes back to the roots of the RTS genre, and brings back that old school focus on mechanics and doing what is fun over what makes sense. Realism doesn't matter, story doesn't matter, character development doesn't matter. All that matters is ripping and tearing, as it should be. A return to form for ID in a big way.

I'm about 14 hours in so far, but it feels like I've only barely scratched the surface. I've hardly advanced the main story because every time I go to do so I get sidetracked on some other quest that I encounter along the way. This is the most content dense game I've every played, and I'm loving every minute of it. Whether it's the writing, the visuals, the combat, or the immersion, big improvements have been made in every aspect over FO3 and FNV. 10/10.

I bought this gmae on a whim, not really knowing a lot about it apart from having heard it was good. In the few days since I have bought it I have put 26 hours into it. Mount and Blade is an incredibly addictive and in-depth game that is well worth your money.
