Before I start this review I would like to mention the following:

1. I have a high end gaming PC Specs shown below
2. I had no expectactions going into game besides the fact that I thought it would be a good game as I did not follow this game closely before release or got aboard the Hype Train (I learned the lesson to not look follow games before release and build expectations after being burned by Fallout 4 and No Mans Sky)

PC Specs
RTX 2080 Super
AMD Ryzen 7 3800x
32 GB of 3600 MHz RAM
2 TB PCIe Gen 4 M.2 SSD

Now its time for the review. I am about 40 hours in and have been running the game at max settings with Ray Tracing (*Some settings I cranked down to medium so I manage to stay above 30 FPS at all time. For example Cascade Shadow Resolution is set to medium) The only issues with crashing I discovered was when I tried to run the game while my GPU was overclocked with MSI Afterburner. Other than that no issues besides minor graphical bugs (Think Doc Mitchell's head rolling around from Fallout New Vegas if you need an example) Now onto the actual game itself. I have thoroghly enjoyed each and every minute of it. The world building is phenomenal and so easy to get lost in. The story is interesting but if I am being honest the side quests are where its at. I love driving around the map hunting down side quests and if I'm being honest each one is fantastic. There was one quest in particular and to avoid any spoilers you have to track down 7 things to be vague about it. First one I tracked down it had me do an objective and because I am conditioned with the way Bethesda does side quests I was like "Oh great I have to travel across each end of the map, back and fourth doing the same thing 7 times." However to my surprise the second objective was very different and hooked me to the next one and each objective was more interesting than the last. To put the cherry on top the last objective I had to do had a very obvious reference to a video game I am sure many of you have enjoyed. However thats just one example. I can go on and on about how fun and engaging this game is but I won't you'll just have to see for yourself. Basically the core of whats there is amazing its just suffering from bugs and technical issues other users have reported. If you got a decent PC by all means get this game you won't be dissapointed unless you've been watching Night City Wire and reading every bit of new up until release. Culminating in the unrealistic expectation that this game is going to be like the second coming of Christ.

TL;DR Game gud if you can run it and if you are going in without sky high expectations

If you are short on cash, already own Bioshock 1, and debating on wheather or not to purchase this game. Don't buy it. However it is a good game but not a good Bioshock game. If you have money to burn and play Bioshock religiously then buy it but if not then spend your money on something else.
