Fantastic so far, No performance issues seen yet.

All the characters are interesting and I can't wait to play them all.

Gunplay is 10/10 for me.

Story is like a decent Star Trek episode plot.

Maybe wait on a few patches before grabbing it as many people say they are getting issues with crashes and stutter.

Game runs poorly.

Co-op play is locked behind first beating the level in single player campaign mode unlike almost every other coop simulator game on the market now.

Cool concept poor execution in many aspects.

Got the deluxe edition for 5$ still would not recommend, Game play is spread out between endless cut-scenes and even when you do get to play the game its repetitive garbage. I played with a friend and my wife they also dislike this game.

My Time at Sandrock is a major improvement over My Time at Portia. Grab it if you are looking for a lot of fun and a lot of variety in upgrade loops. Easy to sink time into and nothing feels rushed.

This game is highly addictive if you enjoy other simulation games such as Prison Architect, or to a lesser degree Rimworld.

You build a cult form the ground up starting with 3 cultists and a cult leader. It is your job to provided for their needs while recruiting Followers which can eventually become Cultists after they have hung out and been bled dry of their money for a bit.

Cultists can take on tasks such as running the various cult rooms or researching, cleaning, cooking etc.
Followers exist to be recruited as cultists/resource generation primarily and other options are made available later in the game.

After a bit of research you get to decide the direction of your cult and currently there are 3 Paths to choose from. (Darkness, Futurology, Peace&Love)
Each path opens up new rooms, cult goals, costume pieces, and even some special cultists to recruit.

After Choosing your path and researching its tree with your leader further you are given even more choices in regards to the direction you want to take your cult in.

The game does not currently have a true sandbox mode but allows you to continue playing after reaching an ending.
With that said to reach the end of the game you have to actively accomplish goals and finally press a button that triggers the ending where you can see your stats, and choose if you would like to call it quits or go back and continue on your cult building way.

Currently, according to the devs in the discussion section, there are no plans to implement a stand-alone sandbox mode or mod support. However, they are open to it if enough people express an interest in it!

Updates are made regularly and so far have added in a lot of great content and ways to play.

Get this game if you enjoy games like Prison Architect and are looking for something new to play!

May your followers be many, and your cultist dreams realized!

This game has the potential to be great. But for now I would wait on purchasing it due to some issues that still need to be ironed out.

The Issues a few friends and I ran into are as follows:

- The audio sliders don't control everything so intense music and the intruders are still loud in game.

- Trading is not allowed like it is in the board game you just drop items on the ground.

- Tutorials need to be a bit more robust along with tool-tips and Game Objectives (I played with someone
who played the board game a lot and they didn't understand how some of the objectives worked)

- Disconnections and crashes occur often and if you disconnect it will auto-pass your turn if you don't re-
connect in time it will auto-pass your turn which is very damaging to the player affected. (A friend
disconnected while looting a box and lost the loot card along with the loot from the box and was put in the
pass-turn state until the next round)

- This one is a bit of a nit-pick but we burned the nest room and destroyed all the eggs inside, then about 4
turns later the queen laid an egg in the room, that was still on fire, resulting in it being destroyed the next
turn (Again this is nit-picky and it may just come from a lack of understanding of the game mechanics
which could be better illustrated in the form of tutorial)

- You cannot set any private slots which makes playing with friends a bit more difficult

- The game options menu is empty so I assume it still needs to be added in

I will return to this review after full-release or after a few patches are done and update to a recommend and why I recommend it or I'll expand on why I do not.

After 62 hours of grinding levels and gear I finally had a build starting to take shape. I tried to connect to another game to try it out and it subsequently erased all of my gear and will no longer let me play on that character due to it constantly getting disconnected from the server for some reason,

A friend of mine had their characters level erased the second day after launch and the servers are still unstable.

I hope this gets fixed because an error like this is incredibly depressing, and frankly unacceptable, in a loot grind game.
