I absolutely love this game for many different reasons, especially enjoy breeding dinos and riding around eating all the living creatures. You can do whatever you like from building to pvping with a huge amount of servers to play on. I personally prefer unofficial servers that have higher rates including XP, taming and gathering rates. Certain servers have great communities and people can be extremely helpful and some mods really keep the longevity of this game going.

After purchasing SE I am just as happy to play the game. Truth be told don't buy the DLC if you don't want to pay for it. I don't think the SE map should determine if the game is good especially after plenty 900+ hours myself. The free map Ragnarok is a great addition plus the Gryphon looks great too. Plenty games could not match that value for money, can't wait for the future updates.
