Civ 5 Gold + Vox Populi with JFD's Civs and any other minor tweaks you might want is probably the best Civ experience there is. Love it. Don't even bother with 6 because it doesn't compare.

Probably the best Free to Play FPS out there in my opinion. A futuristic look to it, it has great balance and a generally good community, although sadly not many play it. It is not pay to win at all, as all you can really pay for is camos, and other fancy looking gear as in games such as League of Legends, but nothing that impacts gameplay, as everyone has access to every weapon, based on rank. 8/10.,

Torchlight II is an ARPG (Action RPG) for those of you who don't know. The guys who made this and TL1 are the same guys who originally made Diablo and Diablo 2, so you can expect similar gameplay to that, except with a different art style. Torchlight is also unique for having a pet system, which is awesome as you always have that pet companion who can fight and carry items, and even do some unique things. Overall this game is a great alternative to Diablo 3, which is plagued with various issues and controversies. I highly reccomend Torchligh and Torchlight 2 to anyone looking for a relaxed awesome ARPG experience. Even my girlfriend plays it. You can usually find TL1 for around $10, and even less on sale. Beat it then get this. Infinite replayability.

In my opinion the best GTA game. Although the PC version has some issues and for some inane reason can only go up to 1680x1020 resolution, it is still worth the experience. A whole state to explore full of three huge cities (Based off of Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas) along with a vast country-side. The storyline itself is very much enjoyable as it tells the story of an aspiring gang and our ghetto character's rise to the top, through legit means. The entire atmosphere of the game is just superb. The soundtrack, the dialogue, the characters, everything is just superb in a sandbox game. For PC it gets an 8/10 because of the issues it has but overall the game itself is one of my few 10/10s.

This game came out in 2001. By those standards, this game was golden. A full 3D city to drive around, shoot, and get into trouble. Set the standard for modern sandbox games. By today's standard it doesn't fare so well. Besides the main missions there isn't much to do, and it has very limited graphics for today. It also has issues with modern systems. Widescreen does not work so you'll need to turn that off to achieve 16:9 resolutions properly. I recommend it because this is a gem of video game history. I personally enjoy playing old games, but it requires a lot of patience. 9/10

The main campaign spans the entire 18th century (1700-1799) with 2 turns per year in a massive RTS/Grand Campaign. You choose one of the big empires of the time and go about conquering Europe, the Americas, and India. The only downturn would probably be not being able to choose any nation to play as, such as the small ones. Recommended for anyone who is a fan of RTS/TBS or the Total War series. One of the best in the entire Series in my opinion.

So much goodness. Got the collection when it was only $7 and it was an awesome deal. If you enjoy the middle ages and/or sword/bow/horse combat then you will love it. It is completely sandbox. You can do literally whatever you want. Want to start off as a hobo then rise in the ranks to slaughter the masses? You can do it. You could start as a noble which is rater easier also. Whatever. The choice is yours. Get this game!

If you enjoy the RTS genre at all you will enjoy Sins of A Solar Empire: Rebellion. Rebellion is the standalone expansion that includes all previous content in Sins, and it is totally worth it. Sins is a very slow game, so don't expect StarCraft levels of speed, but it doesn't hold itself back. You will start out with just a few planets and a few ships, and expand your empire to multiple solar systems, hundreds of ships, hundreds of capital ships, and even titan ships that can take on entire fleets by themselves. It is a very balanced strategy game, no ship is too powerful and has a counter. This is and has been one of my favorite strategy games of all time, and I look forward to future titles by Stardock. 9/10

A good game with good ideas but wouldn't recommend it for $40. Purchase when on sale. In its current state this game has a lot of flaws.
