It's a MMO with a TES skin, which would be fine, as far as MMOs go, this one is not bad.
But the DLC business model is inexcuseable, don't get me wrong, if this was a subscription game, I wouldn't have bought it in the first place, but I wouldn't hold it against people who did, but charging for the base game, then micro transactions, and holding content hostage behind a pay wall on top of that is top scum behavior.
There are free MMOs that are comparable to this that have more content, and if you want TES lore, just read the wiki.
Regret buying this 100%.

Honestly, prefer the original one.

Really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boring, too simplistic, and no variation on game modes at all.

You can't pay me enough to play this for more than 10 minutes.

Honestly? This isn't as bad as everyone says it is, sure, it's worse than 5 and can't hold a candle to 4, but there is so much content here, and it's playable, got this on a sale and got no regrets.

It's tough to not recomend this game, if you want worms, this is the best experience you'll get on PC hands down.
However, it's kinda pricey for a game from 99'. Also, for some reason the PS1 version is superior in every way but the ease of playing online, so if you want to play the best worms game, play the one from the PS1 (same name).

Don't bother with the other pc versions, if you have to play it on PC, and refuse to use an emulator, play this one.

Like, it's not bad.
But it has less features and feels jankier than the PS1 game.
Also the AI is hopeless.

Oh God, I played through the "campaign", the sheer amount of times I got softlocked because the turn wouldn't end until the physics objects stopped, which they didn't, the turn wouldn't end because of the water, or because my worm would slide forever, how in the holy name of ♥♥♥♥ did this pass through Q&A, I have a theory, because suckers actually pay for "beta testing" by playing early access games, actual pen and paper game testers were out of a job, that's why games nowadays have this ♥♥♥♥, I don't remember dealing with softlocks like this on the 90's and 00's.
Also there are exactly 0 people playing this multiplayer game rn, avoid it.

Not only a massive step down from gta SA and 4, it randomly erased my 85 hour save, and now REQUIRES not one but two bloatwares to run, namely social club and rockstar launcher.
The games industry is going down the drain fast.
