Requires third party malware to run, which, comically wasn't working when I got this, so I was locked out of a single player offline game because I couldn't connect to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers.

Which by the way, once it hopefully goes bankrupt when AC shadows flops, all of their games will suffer the same fate, and you won't be able to play the games you own, do yourself a favor and don't buy any games that require third party malware to run.

The day/night cycle sucks A LOT.
But other than that it's just age of mythology, I legit can't tell if they updated the graphics or not.
Online play is seamless though, if you liked age of mythology, or haven't played it yet, highly recommend, get this instead of age of empires 2.

Requires easy anti cheat to run

I could forgive them swapping the controls for no reason, or adding a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ projectile to the game.

But charging extra for individual characters instead of having them unlockable through gameplay is unforgivable.

So I'll keep it short this time, I had to put a piece of tape on my screen to use the bow, the game crashes, and I gave up on finishing the game after a fully decked out bandit teleported to me while I was looking at him, threw me from my horse from 2 km away, and then I got stun locked by his dog.

Just pirate soul calibur 3 or 4, I legit regreted every single triple A game purchase I made in the last 8 years.
Why the ♥♥♥♥, of all games, do they lock characters in fighting games behind a paywall, my dude I PAID for the game, the only reason I buy any soul calibur is to masturbate to Tira, and I can't even do this here.
The characters all feel diferent in a bad way, the customization is just a glorified skin simulator for the base rooster since you can't customize the moves from your little guy.
And they REALLY should drop the pretentious story stuff, since they had ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ yoda and darth vader in the game, no one is going to take that seriously, and why have obtuse ♥♥♥♥♥♥ "story" modes instead of actual good content.
This is a personal pet peeve, but they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ my mains into the dirt, idgaf if they're good or bad at competitive, let me hit people with the scythe guy and the actual boss of every single game, they feel like ♥♥♥♥, and I can't believe I'll say this as a racist, but they ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ white washed the scythe guy, dude's white and fights like a toddler.

Do yourself and everyone a favor DO NOT give money to developers that put DLC on games, maybe if it's cosmetics and the game is good value, maybe, but this is not ok.
Also, DAY 1 CHARACTER DLC?????? ARE YOU MAD?????? Imagine shipping a game, taking content OUT of the disk, and selling it back to you, anyone, including me, who bought this game is a CUCK, do not make the same mistake, if you do, you'll get generic characters to play that you can count on one hand, and a ♥♥♥♥ up your arse.
