A very overlooked tower defense with a balanced challenge-level for everyone. There's different strategies you can take in terms of tower and ability upgrades, which honestly add a lot of replay value as well. The hero mechanic is also a nice touch and makes each level's play-through a lot more interactive. You're getting your money's worth with this one!

A spectacular roguelike-metroidvania (a roguevania, as I've heard it called) with great visuals and sound. I was instantly swayed by the onboarding and the way the environment shapes itself from one play-through to the next. Deaths never make you feel cheated, but rather that you simply got outplayed, which is a tricky balance to strike. A true gem - 10/10!

An exceptional Metroidvania with immersive visuals and spectacular sound design. One of the most rewarding back-tracking and exploratory experiences I've had. The platforming and boss challenges are just the right amount of complex, requiring a few tries before you learn the right patterns. It was an instant favourite and an easy recommendation to all my friends.

It's one of those rogue-like games where eventually you accept the inevitable and are fine with dying. The farming aspect is kept fun somehow though with the quirky music and nostalgic graphics. The controls are intuitive and community is positive. You're fine playing alone since you'll come across mates in no time (although, if you do wish to group up with mates, it's even merrier). A solid recommend to any RPG fanatic :)
