I'm far from finished with my time with StarVaders, but I need to leave a review anyway, because this game is just so good. If you like Slay The Spire, or Monster Train, give this game a go.

I 'beat' Blue Prince today, but I haven't finished Blue Prince.
There's so many mysteries and puzzles to solve, and story to uncover.
I love this game, and can't wait to found out the story of my family in full.

I beat it originally on Playstation, but with DS2 coming out, I had an itch to deliver again.

This game is great, it has a really addictive loop of delivering, and refining your delivery routes. When I'm not delivering, I'm thinking about delivering, so it really gets in your head.

The intro to the game takes a couple hours of cutscenes and scripted set-pieces before it really gets going, but when it does, it's absolutely worth it. I think everyone who's played it, remembers the first time they saw Port Knot City and Asylums for the Feeling started playing, and it's one of many special moments in this game.

The story is also really endearing, there is just so much heart in these characters and you really want to see them overcome their personal journeys. I can't recommend Death Stranding enough.

Vampire Survivors is not only the best in it's genre, it's a pioneer in gameplay innovation, and a loving homage to Castlevania... and it's dirt cheap, seriously.

I put off playing DS2 after falling off after 2 hours on the original release, when it first came out. I just figured it was too different from DS1 and I wouldn't enjoy it. Fast forward 10 years later and I finished DS1 for the umpteenth time, and thought I'd give DS2 another shot.

It's actually really good. I was a fool for dismissing it.
It is quite different from 1, with the hollowing system, lifegems, the estus shards and everything else, but I promise if you give it a chance, you'll find it's just as much worth your time as the first. After having beaten it, and it's DLC, I'm actually quite disappointed that DS3 never followed up what DS2 put down.

Game is fun, when it works, but it is very buggy. I have been disconnected mid-match. My friends have been disconnected mid-match. The game has crashed on me in the middle of play, multiple times. The game straight-up refuses to let me play it when another person in the house is playing it (unless one of us changes our IP).

I have had glitches in Warzone where I can't use my controls. Or glitches where my entire view was zoomed in 200%. Or me, and others, clip through the map. This is on top of so many other small glitches that just hinder the enjoyment of the game, like not being able to drop my money from my inventory, so my teammate can't buy back.

It is fun when it works, but I can't recommend it in this state. Activision and Infinity Ward should do better, but they won't while there's a new game to release each year.

Addictive and satisfying. The best parts of Runescape without the hassle of playing Runescape.

The game's great. When it started I wasn't sure if I would like it, the combat was a little unconventional and the 'world' immediately opens up to you that it can feel a little overwhelming.
But stick with it, because when it clicks, it clicks, and it will get its hooks in you. It's really satisfying overcoming puzzles *your* way (ie. the skills you choose, and ideas you have, will affect how you choose to tackle problems, and there is never just one solution). The combat is actually great, and the story and setting, Talos One, are very interesting. The narrative will ask you a lot of questions on what it means to be human, and if you choose to empathise with others, or if instead the needs of the many outweigh the few, do the ends justify the means, etc etc, that sort of thing.

In short, it's great! Give us another one, Bethesda! 🥳
