Do not buy. Stay away, this game is SO bad that I think we need to start posting the names of CEOs of the publishers who are letting these things out into the wild. Show some respect to your customers Robert A. Altman, CEO of ZeniMax, parent company of Bethesda. This game has the energy of a early access AA abandonware. I really love Arkane games and was willing to give this one a go. I went in with low expectations and was still massively disappointed. I did not pay full price for this but if I did it would have been a return within the first few minutes of playing. Nothing is finished, it's glitchy, buggy, poorly presented and honestly Microsoft and Arkane should be embarrassed that this released in the state it did. If it was a $30 early access game, I would not be posting this review but this is a $90 CAD AAA release by people with the money and experience to do better.

DooM May Cry is a great description. It takes the fast paced Doom style gameplay but ranks you with points, ala Devil May Cry. Pulling off sick combos is super satisfying if you like the visceral effect of blood literally raining down on you and lubricating your robot joints. There are not a ton of levels but there is tons of replay value, and of course, it is Early Access at the time of writing this so there is more coming. Loads of updates, reliable publisher, I would not worry about the fact that it's Early Access.

Basically another New Blood hit.

I think this may be the only true cooperative survival horror game that I've played. Great atmosphere, challenging gameplay, easy to learn but still tough with a high skill ceiling. I was on the fence about it because it was Early Access but it is more polished than many 1.0/complete releases I have played. Audio is great; again, fantastic atmosphere. The graphics are great! The devs make great use of the lighting and fog systems by integrating them into the gameplay.

Expect to fail 90% of the time when you are starting out but that is part of the fun. I like to work for my victories. Bring some friends who you can work with because there is no difficulty scaling.
