holy f@@k. this game. this game dude. oh my god this is SO GOOD. I loved Antonball and Pizza Tower, but this is masterclass, it did NOT disappoint the year long wait i had. the game ran perfectly, the animation make me want to get out of art block, the gameplay is so fun to play with, i loved the voice acting and characters, cutscenes were stellar animation, the soundtrack is DEF my favorite out of the games I have played this year (up there with ultrakill) this game is such a masterful game and just one of the best things i have experienced this year along with ultrakill, it made a HELLA great gift for Christmas, I HIGHLY recommend this game even if you dont like platforming all too well, its an amazing game on its own with the most charm i have seen put into a game since pizza tower about 2 years ago. i will be there for the next game after that and more updates and EVERYTHING WITH ANTON. WELL DONE SUMMITSPIRE. WELL DONE. THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS AWESOME GAME.

alright. so, its been about almost 2 months since i made this review above this and while a lot of this is true, and recommended it, i changed my mind quite a bit from then. the visual elements are still striking and well done, the main gripe i have with this game is the difficulty and pure unfairness that the game can throw at you with no hesitation. i made the original review right after i completed arcade mode and was not prepared for the straight-up TORTURE that this game has caused me for almost 2 months. the collectables mostly being skins was kinda lame tbh and just having to buy them over and over instead of playing the levels to get more kinda sucks or a new mode where you can unlock them at would've been better. and where do i begin with the difficulty of the game, i was already fuming at trying to crack jewel ghoul and after i had finally beaten every boss up to satan, i ultimately got beat by the huge amount of rng ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the final fight. It has sucked the life out of me and ive just been feeling more depressed in general knowing i cannot do anything about it, i have probably put 20 hours into the bosses and the majority being the final fight and its WAY too difficult. you may say skill issue all you want but i definetly think that the combo chain trial modes is one of, if not the worst mode i have ever had the displeasure of playing, everything against you and demanding, making you go for PERFECTION. I hated it so much that i couldn't even get pass cinnamon springs with a cracked rank, and since im a perfectionist, if i do not go for the cracked, i feel like garbage at the game so i always try but fail FOR HOURS ON END. dont make a game where the player is actively wanting to put a bullet in their head rather than having to restart a level for hours on end. this game genuienly broke me. people are much better than me so listen to them, but if you are not a professionial player at games like me, DO. NOT. FOR. THE. LOVE. OF. GOD. TRY TO COMPLETE THIS GAME. IT WILL ♥♥♥♥ YOUR BRAIN LIKE NO OTHER GAME HAS BEFORE.

im sorry if i sound like a dirtbag, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on this game due to difficulty but this game is even harder than getting over it on mobile. (yes i have completed getting over it on mobile multiple times)

good game, but you cant ♥♥♥♥ the robots so -3/2
