i would propose that it is a massive conspiracy by the larger nations so they can have all the technology to themselves and they just pay the paleontologists quiet.

i would say yes i believe in those magnificent bastards but only if my theory of them being wiped out by a guided meteorite because of their superior technology which they used to fend off an alien invasion.
