Not ready for prime time.
Runs terrible on good hardware, like 10 fps on a 4060. Changed the settings to low, that made it run better without seeing any difference in quality.
Needs a major UI update, cant find settings anywhere, game restarts when changing the board. And why is there no way to play offline?
Anyhow, I can see past these issues, but 15 minutes in a game it crashed, and that was the final straw for me to get a refund. I'm sorry to be so negative in a review, but this game is simply not ready to be sold

I spent 21 hours so far to get to ~80% completeness and I can hardly put my controller down. Very engaging story-line, and very gradually the game gets harder while you upgrade your suit etc. Very balanced, amazing graphics, everything maxed out in 4k makes my 3090 TI work hard, especially when swinging around at high speeds. But it works great on my low end pc (gtx970 + intel 4770) as well. The lower graphics on my old pc don't take anything away from the amazing gameplay this game has to offer and it still looks way, way better than I thought that machine could handle.

I love swinging around Manhattan doing tricks in the sky, giving high fives to random people and beating up crooks as a superhero. You can pick main story missions as you please, most of them split up in roughly 5 minute sections, giving you all the freedom to do whatever you want and not get stuck into a long session. Even though some missions seem to urge you into swinging your way to continue the mission, there is no need to do so, and you can mess around the city for as long as you want before continuing. However, to unlock different kinds of side missions you will need to continue the story and the other way around as well, for some missions need you to unlock a skill first.

Difficulty settings might need to be adjusted in the beginning, playing on "amazing" (normal) can be very tough, I wasn't able to get through the first mission without having to replay it almost 5 times. Decided to put the setting to "Friendly" (easy) instead so I don't have to keep replaying the same mission over and over again, but I also kinda suck at games like this, so your mileage may vary. The combat system is very well done. Took me a bit to get used to, but once you know the button combos, fighting becomes very rewarding. The slow progression of extra moves makes the later moves easy to add on to what you already know.

The story-line is very engaging, great characters, great voice actors and lots of variation and surprises. Many side quests that link directly into the main storyline make it a great experience. The only things I didn't like much were the stories where you play as another character like Miles or MJ, sneaking around enemies in ways that don't make a lot of sense (like they would clearly see or hear me IRL). But it brings even more variation to the game, and there are not of lot of these missions anyway (4-5?). And enemies/random people need some more phrases, hearing the same sentences over and over (Hey, do you work out? Can you say hi to my son? Don't let him get in the air! How does he move so fast? Etc.) gets slightly annoying after a while. And for some reason in the middle of the game the steam achievements stopped working. But again, very minor complaints.

Overall I can't recommend a game more, and will definitely get the DLC when it becomes available.

Amazingly well made game. Definitely worth playing, especially after playing both portal games. Challenging puzzles and great storyline. I had a blast.

Love the game. Similar to satisfactory and Factorio.
But I feel the game isn't finished yet. Stuff that is in place works well, but it really misses a tutorial where it tells you how to do some basic things (fueling the car, selling items, digging (I spent hours with a shovel just to find out the pickaxe is so much more effective without having to move dirt around!!) tier 1/2 items and what the difference is, safes for items without there being anyone to steal it, etc). Part of the fun was just roaming around and figuring this stuff though. The world is empty and feels empty, you're there by yourself and alone, some random stores and homes, but nobody there.

Then some bugs. Most prominent: Resources can get stuck. Especially when the "dirt to resource" - machine breaks down. Dirt piles up in front of it and gets stuck. If you don't pay attention this builds up, turning the FPS to a crawl. Using the magnet on a stick on this pile gets it loose, but the game will freeze for a while. Anyhow, this happens too wit gold/iron, seems to randomly get stuck (splitter belt -> funnel). The "remove all unprocessed resources" button fixes this too, but it just seems wasteful, especially early game.
And then later game (20+ hours) it turns out there is nothing to dig tier 3, so don't waste time nuking the place like I did...

Looking past these few things, it is an amazing game that got me hooked just like satisfactory and factorio were able to do. What I like better than satisfactory is that it is so simple, just a few machines that do it all, nothing complicated. Simply dig, smelt, sell, buy more stuff to dig and build more.
